Fixtures Calendar - 2025/26

That would inevitably lead to Liverpool starting with two home games or a blank weekend for potential Everton opponents.

Why would Everton need such? The stadium was finished weeks ago and has had (trial) matches played there at the end of last season.
Works really well, give the dips 2 easy back to back home games along with the rags and us & Everton can have 2 hard aways. That way no 'blank gamedays' and a difficult early doors run for us.

215 games on Sky and 52 on TNT next season. No games on Amazon.

So 267 out of the 380 Premier League games will be shown live.

We'll be lucky to have 4-5 games on a Saturday 3pm kick off
A lot of the additional live games are those that get moved to Sunday as a consequence of teams playing on Thursday. All of those are going to be on TV from next season but what kickoff times they’ll have is yet to be revealed. And there will be an extra two midweeks where every game will be shown plus all 10 games on the final day will be on TV.
But I also expect that there will definitely be more Friday night games from next season and very possibly more Saturday and Sunday evening kickoffs too.

Yeah the earliest teams who play in Europe on Thursday their games on Sunday will be 2pm. Teams not in Europe who play on Sunday would be 12pm or in the evening. The way I see it is:

Friday night football(SKY)

Early Saturday game(TNT)
Early evening Saturday game(SKY)
Saturday night game(SKY or TNT)

Sunday early game 12pm(TNT)
Sunday 2pm games(SKY) all will be broadcast simultaneously so you can choose the game to watch.
Super Sunday game 4.30(SKY)
Sunday evening game(SKY or TNT)

Monday night football(SKY)

Midweek games(SKY or TNT)

Final day of the season ALL ten games will be simultaneously broadcast on SKY

I'm guessing the first round of televised games will be announced the week after next?
The first week of TV games will be announced on Wednesday when the fixtures come out as they have to announce the first Friday night game and the first super Sunday and Monday night football games

That looks pretty plausible. I think TNT has exactly the same total number of games (52) as with the previous contract - one per weekend (early Saturday unless that game has to be moved due to UEFA scheduling) plus a couple of midweeks when every game gets shown.
Sky has all the new additions in addition to those that were previously on Amazon on top of what it already had.

If two of the red top teams were participating in the CWC instead of us and Chelsea they would be allowed a longer break and would be playing in other in game week one and given special dispensation to play on the Wednesday after the opening weekend.
With Chelsea and us taking part in the CWC the opening games will inevitably include Bournemouth or Brighton at home to us and Chelsea playing away at either Newcastle or Sunderland. One if the games will be on the Friday evening whilst the other will be on the Saturday lunchtime.

FA Cup dates

Proper good info that.

Don't know how true this is.
There’s always a few of these before the fixtures come out and I’ve never seen one that’s right yet, so it’s likely total bollocks.
Newcastle and Sunderland both at home on the same weekends is bad enough but City and the rags at home on the same weekends is really the clincher…
