You are not so foolish you think all this started on the 7th of October. Israel has been treating Palestinians badly since 1948. It's killed way more Palestinians than they have Israelis. And it essentially has millions of Palestinians boxed up.

If you think Israel is justified in its response to October 7th then quantifying how much Gazans should be able to inflict on Israel in response?

Quick bit of Maths. Let's say Israel has killed 50 times their losses on that day.
Do you think Palestinians should be able to kill 2 and half million Israelis in response to their losses?

Every terrorist group on the planet could justify themselves in that way......but can't remember everyone displaying the Taliban flag on their social media profiles? ......Hamas are no different, if they had power, they would oppress their own people, just like the Taliban. Palestinians who support them, are too scared not to.

What permission would Trump need to move assets from a US air base? Whilst I don't doubt some other elements of complicity, there's very little we could have realistically done to stop the US from moving their Air Force planes from their own base, be it in East Anglia or somewhere else

Why would they not justify themselves in that way? I have not seen a Hamas flag on anyone's profile, but anyone not supporting the people of Palestine will be on the wrong side of history. And anyone thinking that Israel's actions are simply a response to October 2024 is wilfully ignorant.

I saw an interview with this guy yesterday. Miko Peled. Jewish, born in Israel and fought in the IDF, his grandfather was a signatory of the Israeli Declaration of Independence while his father was a Major General in the Israeli army.
His niece was killed by a Palestinian suicide bomber.
Yet he doesn't blame Hamas or the PLO. He blames Israel.
