Going in my fantasy team for start of season.
Goal + assist, is on set pieces, can see in interviews ect he's feeling himself more again too.
Think he can build a very good partnership with Cherki flicking and tricking their way down the right.

I thought Phil looked different. Like he has become a proper grown up.

Looking forward to watching him this season.

He was showing for the ball a lot more than last season and taking the ball on the turn, arguably his best attribute. He's probably the best in the game at being able to take the ball on the turn in a split second and put defences on the back foot.

Last season he was hardly doing that and just laying it off as quick as possible to the nearest player. Clearly a confidence issue.

He wasn't spectacular by any means, but looked more like his normal self.

If his mind and body are right, I am excited for what Phil can do this year.
+1 - one game only... and too soon to draw firm conclusions... but Foden was great and may have turned it around. I'm rooting for him - let's see how he performs next game.
