Akanji doesn’t want this tournament, so drop him.Hopefully Khusanov plays instead of one of the centre halves.
I mean... does it matter? There's a big chance we end up playing Salzburg anyway, even if we finish 2nd.We have to beat them by at least 5-0 otherwise we could finish 2nd in this group. I had a nagging feeling that we should have scored more goals against Wydad.
I watched the RM v Al Hilal game last night, 2 very good teams. I would say both playing levels above the way we played yesterday. We will have to improve significantly to match them!We have to beat them by at least 5-0 otherwise we could finish 2nd in this group. Inzaghi is managing Al Hilal, they were very confident and skilful, unlucky not to get a win against Real Madrid, they created many good opportunities to score. Their striker was out, you would imagine they will be more clinical with him playing?
Whoever is runner-up in that group will be a hard match?
If Al Ain play to a similar standard as Al Hilal, it will be a much tougher game than Wydad.

I will be. 4hrs sleep before then 3hrs after then work. Doddle.Who the fuck is staying up for this lol
I thought we struggled with the pitch a bit, our passes tended to be short. I guess watering them doesn’t do much good as it’ll evaporate pretty quickly in that heat.Al Ain are in the UAE league, not Saudi. They're nowhere near as good as Al Hilal.
It was really fucking hot yesterday, and with that many changes I don't think we need to look too much into the performance.
The Juve game will be a better measure of where we are.
As for where we finish in the group. Win it and Real will come 2nd in theirs. Come 2nd and Real will win their group. We'll be playing them in the next round, we can't seem to avoid them!
I thought Reijnders and Doku both did well in the first half. I thought Ederson did well throughout. We were poor yesterday generally besides Reijnders.

Nobody is claiming the team that played, and taking everything about when the game is being played said it was one of the best teams in the world, it wasn't much more than a pre season game.Doku did well in parts and Ederson done ok with his distribution but nothing screaming one of the so called best teams in the world?
Me. Already had Monday booked off so 9pm bed, alarm for half 1 and watch the Blues.Who the fuck is staying up for this lol

Wasn't it over 30 degrees in that second half ? First half was fine they did what they needed to do.Them players were still good enough to have battered that team yesterday though?
