Them teaching Israel a lesson makes sense to me.

So far Iran has deployed their old missiles. God forbid Iran stays humane and not deploy with heavy collateral damage unlike Israel on Gaza, but Israelis need to demand their barbaric fascist government and military (not all as some IDF factions have seen the light) to stop starting wars front left and centre.

Iran has a lot more up their sleeves missiles wise, and they have a million troops.

US better not be involved as well, because it is not their country and the yank army must not sacrifice an unnecessary war. The US polls estimate more than 80% Americans refuse to join the war. And in the MAGA community, 53% do not want US to be involved, 28% are not certain, and the remaining 19% want US to join. I’m not surprised if the remaining 19% are the AIPAC and pro-zionist yanks. I wonder if our American blues here want US troops to join the Iran Israel war or not.

The Iraq invasion is a clear example of how US soldiers were lost, for a cause that is a definite hoax of WMDs, perpetrated and coerced by none other than Netanyahu.

Tbh from what I have read Israel, despite their lack of numbers and missiles, have vastly superior technology and weapons. Winning the skies over Tehran happened within days because of that.

Maybe if the Iranians could get behind their leadership but even there they are fundamentally split on supporting a govn they hate.

But I don't see it as Iran holding back from the total destruction of isreal, its more a balancing act of Iran reacting to Israel but not so much that they end up in an expensive war that costs the regime.

Bottom line for me is that Iran have been stupid, supporting and funding attacks on Israel, and now Israel have a lunatic in charge they are paying for it.

Surely it’s a good thing for Iran to be hit though - seen as they have propped up a lot of terrorist organisations and supply Russia with weapons.

By that logic, it'll be a good thing when the US and UK get hit. You can add Israel as well.

The million troops are of no use as this is a battle in the skies and Iran have no competent modern aircrafts. They'll exchange a few blows with Israel to save face and that will be it. Khamenei's life is under threat and he has lost their top military personnel, and many of the missile launchers. I think he will give up the nuclear programme in exchange of lifting of sanctions if offered now.

Yeah and I think it’s important to not have a binary stance on this either. I don’t think it’s a good thing that they are hit, but I spoke with a mate yesterday who’s Dad is Iranian and he was showing me text messages from his Dad that were saying ‘I’m anti Israel but I actually back what they are doing in Iran’ it’s very complicated!

Aye there's an increasing feeling that we are on the wrong side given some of the stuff we are supporting or accepting. Not that there's a right side though.

It does. But I'd be very surprised if they are alone in this type of activity.

I was referring to direct military activity or their activity in the area through proxies.

As far as I'm aware they've not travelled as far as the US did to go to war in Vietnam.

Dunno, feels quite genocidal what Israel were doing to gaza. I know the reasons though. But it's children and babies they are killing now. That's quite wrong imo. No, its very very wrong. I don't want to support that.
