Tino Livramento

That assumes he'd be happy to be back up. Walker was playing most games then wasn't he?
Plus again, his progression is likely because he played most weeks, not being back up to a first choice
Walker wasnt even playing, he moved the treble season, so 4 CB system.

Newcastle know they won't be challenging Liverpool for the title. Yes, they had a great season last season.

But when an offer around the 100 million pound mark comes in for one of your players serious decisions need to be made.

If Isac wants to go then Newcastle will sell him. Players generally hold all the cards now as we have seen in the past with other players.

Kane stayed cos he wanted to be the blue eyed boy and not stir up a fuss. IMO.
If they get Isak and Guehi on top of what they've got then it's going to difficult for the rest of the league to keep up with them. Reminds me of when United won 3 titles in a row and bought Veron, Blanc and Nistelrooy. I'm hoping Liverpool go the same way as that United team did and finish 3rd in the following season following their transfers.

I feel if Liverpool do bring in those players we've got to go with them and match them stride for stride. Livramento deal would be crucial. Feel we missed a huge trick not putting our foot on the gas (blowing Arsenal out of the water for Declan Rice) when we were in a position of strength and winning league titles.

If they do indeed get them players then its defo going to be a problem!

It is, especially Isak. Wirtz alone doesn't bother me as they still lack a world class number 9. If they get Isak on top of Wirtz then it's going to be difficult for us.

Fucking hell your loving talking about them today aren't you, must be a spot over on RAWK you can get to keep it going.

Couldn't give a shit who they do or don't buy.

As for Rice, lol.

Saying what we're probably all thinking mate. Doesn't make me a bin dipper. I didn't expect them to attack the market the way they have, so it's just a bit of a surprise.

Them bringing in good players will probably stop us winning League titles, and that's all I care about. Winning silverware. Bringing in a right back is a must because that's where our weakness is.

It might on the other hand it might not. Whatever we can only do what we do.

I`m delighted with the 3 major signings we have brought in mate and i`m sure we will do a RB. Never thought we would be talking about Wirtz and them lot though and possibly Isak?!

We are all sat around afraid of who the dippers are buying. I doubt it.

Attack the market by signing two full backs, not as good as the ones they are replacing and adding an attacking midfielder from Germany who got worse stats than Marmoush who only played 6mths last season. Yeah proper afraid mate.

It just annoys me that they are strengthening and still looking to strengthen. Frimpong probably isn't Trent level, but Kerkez is a massive upgrade on Robertson though.

Wirtz and Marmoush are different players entirely. Wirtz is a world class player and it annoys me that he's going there.

I might be wrong and you might be right, but I guess we will have to see.

I'm happy with Cherki over Wirtz as I said previously. Cherki isn't as good as Wirtz right now, but he could be even better given time.

Whys it annoying, not our problem. How many windows over the last 10 years have people thought united or chelsea have had better windows than us only to see us finish above them ,usually winning the league.
Teams and the right signings win leagues not the biggest signings, so far only Wirtz makes them better, but for all we we know who's he replacing, will it change how they play, will it make other players worse, will Salah drop off. All unknowns, he's a very good player, no guarantee he makes them a better team though.

Agree with that.

It's just annoying. More to the fact that if we do it there's an inquest on Sky Sports News as to why the league isn't fair and we are ruining English Football (when we wanted Kane and Grealish). When Liverpool do it, it's amazing and good for the game.

I'm thrilled with our business so far especially at the prices we've paid but I just feel we need to sort the present weakness out which is at right back. If Newcastle want 70, pay it.
