Words that can have different meanings (but spelt the same).

Twat. An unlikeable person.
Twat. A term of endearment to signify a person (usually a friend) has had you over (usually in an argument).
Twat. To hit a tennis ball rather hard (usually at the twat of a mate who just cunningly lobbed you at the net).
Twat. To batter someone (usually not your mate but can be if highly toxic levels of alcohol and / or football involved.)
Or just generally use as appropriate
 
I had a friend from Eastern Europe who sent me money in the post. It didn’t arrive and I messaged him but he insisted he had sent it.
The next day I went back to the post office to check if the check* that my Czech friend sent had arrived.
*US spelling of check / cheque
