Middle East Conflict | Netanyahu orders strikes on Gaza (p1161)

Spraying paint into engines is somewhat more harmful than plain graffiti - they knew what they were doing.... why don't they fuck off back to Gaza and fight THEIR real enemy, if their that concerned?
Seeing as aid workers and the press aren’t allowed into Gaza not sure they’ll allow anyone who would like to fight for the Palestinians.

You think the people that spray-painted these planes came all the way from Gaza? Or are you just saying the quiet part out loud?

Anyway, good to see more people showing outrage in this thread. Just a shame it's over a couple of planes, rather than the ongoing slaughter

At least 274 killed and 750+ injured in the last 3.5 weeks while QUEUING FOR AID (per the summary at the bottom):

I don't really agree with the RAF break-in, mainly because it's only going to detract from the actual issue at hand, but would the fact that the RAF is flying spy missions over Gaza not make them a legitimate target for protesters? Just on a logical basis. I don't get the idea that they're not involved at all

Define genocide....

October 7th?
Israeli's in Gaza
Iran against Israel?
Israel against Iran.....

For me it's all of the above and I condemn it all in equal measure, there is no correct or acceptable genocide it has been around for centuries. This latest chapter in Gaza can be clearly attributed to the genocidal attacks that took place on October 7th and the people that orchestrated it should have realised what they were letting their own people in for - no point crying now and telling the world how hard done by they are.
Give it a rest numbskull. This conflict didn't start on 7th October. Not quite sure why you need reminding so often.
2 options you know nothing about the conflict or more likely you don't want to discuss what's been going on for the last 70 years.

As far as the 4 events above
October 7th mass murder
Gaza genocide
The other too military attacks with mass civilian casualties.
That's how I'd class them.

The RAF are a legitimate target in the UK fuck me what have we come to.

This is what I find most shocking and appalling of this whole issue. In the 70s 80s and 90s had you been throwing around leaflets and support for PIRA and RIRA or Libyan terrorists or then Al Qaeda etc you'd have been lynched.
I distinctly remember individuals and groups in Britain during the 1970s who supported the IRA to a greater or lesser extent. What surprised me, at the time, was that they were not lynched, nor anything like it. Of course, we were a more tolerant society then. I believe there were even MPs who said, more or less, that the IRA had a point and even that Ireland should be united.

There were also certain pubs you could go in where IRA supporters were more than tolerated. In fact, it would be truer to say that we native English were the ones tolerated. Collections for the 'bhoys' were not unknown. Though I have to add that this latter is not from my pesonal knowledge as I tended not to hang about such places for very long.

So Tulsi Gabbard and US intelligence say that Iran aren't in the process of developing nuclear weapons. Donald Trump says they are and he'll bomb the fuck out of the country unless they stop.

If only we could believe either one of them.

The October 7th attacks were not genocide. Israel attacking Iran or Iran attacking Israel is not genocide. Israel’s current action in Gaza is ethnic cleansing/genocide.

And for crying out fucking loud, civilians being systematically murdered is not ‘being hard done by’.

State of some of these fucking posts.

Well there's an update of sorts I suppose. Distress from a so-called Libertarian. Make of it what you will:

“Wow, Tulsi is now the Colin Powell of this administration. She knows better but has chosen to lie through her teeth to sell a war,” Smith wrote.

*snip*

“The dishonest media is intentionally taking my testimony out of context and spreading fake news as a way to manufacture division. America has intelligence that Iran is at the point that it can produce a nuclear weapon within weeks to months, if they decide to finalize the assembly. President Trump has been clear that can’t happen, and I agree,” Gabbard wrote on X.

She included testimony she gave in March that has come under question as Trump has directly rebuked her multiple times.

*snip*

“She’s worse than the others because she spent her career pretending to be against regime change war in Iran. What an utter disgrace!” he wrote. “Weeks?! Weeks?! This is just made up today. It contradicts every single piece of intelligence on Iran for 20 years. Even Netanyahu never went so far.”

“I supported him this last year,” Smith told Breaking Points hosts Saagar Enjeti and Krystal Ball. “I apologize for doing so. It was a bad calculation. At the time it seemed like the right one. He should be impeached and removed.”

*snip*

Trump is going to lose his coalition over this,” Smith said. “There are a lot of us that simply will not go along with this.”

So how far back are we going to go? King Herard (of Palestinian persuasion) who ordered the murder of all new bor Jewish babies for fear of being overthrown...?

No, I appreciate the events of 7th October wer as a consequence of stuff that had gone on before, but there is no doubt that they were a catalyst for the significant death toll that has happened sine that date. To deny that is just plain stupid.

What? You mean the civilians that were murdered, raped and captured on October 7th? Or, was that acceptable and okay? you're nothing but a hypocritical Nazi.
It was not genocide as it amounted to a tiny fraction of the Israeli population, took place in 1 afternoon. It was murder.
No one said it was OK but if you cared to look at the numbers of Palestinians murdered by Israel in the previous decade you might understand why it happened.

Which would be illegal for a British citizen. As it would to fight in the IDF. But I suspect there would be some technical difference when it came to prosecutions.

No, I do not understand why that massacre happened, there is/was no justification - it was barbaric and very very disturbing. That said the consequential after effects as a direct result or it are also totally and equally unjustified.
