it just makes sense. there's so much to like about it. khusanov + gvardiol's pace is perfect for handling that wide center back role. enough defensive stability with 3 cbs + rodri + a defensively capable #8 in reijnders, ait nouri and nunes given freedom to provide width, which we know is where they excel, but also allows them to support defensively when needed. Cherki and marmoush basically in their most ideal position, under the striker and slightly to the wing, helping the fullbacks with width. great center control. The players we've assembled seem perfect for this formation.
 
Tomorrow is going to be grim.

Just glad it might not be delayed by thunderstorms.

Imagine staying up til now and then finding out there’s an indefinite weather delay.

Why the fuck is everyone still going on about Pep not wanting a big squad?
All cos he said he’d quit if he had a big squad.
Something which he said was a joke in the very next press conference.
We must be getting close to getting our oil club back cos they’re back to crying about costs and squad size.
I can’t wait to hear Wirtz constantly being referred to as ‘the £116m man’
