9 | Erling Haaland - 2025/26

Took a chance on his right foot for once at least.
 
Nice to see him trust his right foot more.. even if it isn't completely fine tuned with accuracy as yet!

A two footed Haaland will be twice as scary!
 
Not his best day in terms of finishing but generally looks sharp in terms of getting into positions. Great season ahead I reckon.

He was scoring for his country last week, so I would never worry about his ability to score

He made a good assist for Cherki, but I don't remember any other memorable link-up play.
 
What's crazy is, while he should have scored more of those chances, Ait Nouri was making loads of great crosses down the left and Haaland was no where near them.

Now maybe Haaland got use to our left side never sending crosses like that, this is our 1st real LB in a long time, but he needs to be feasting on these.
 
He looked very off of it today. I hope this isn't a lack of motivation or something. He needs to improve going forward.
 
Finally shooting with right foot.
Very bad finishing, it’s been a concern for 2 seasons now.
Needs to improve his movement, we have a LB that acc crosses now. Needs to be in the box.
Good link up play, should had an assist for Foden
He knows he costed us today and that’s why he slapped the ground at full time. I know he demands a lot from himself which is great but he also needs to be calmer.
Would be great to see him attack the ball and be more aggressive with centre backs. I know he conserves a lot of energy but he doesn’t press so atleast make different runs. I know they won’t reach him half the time but still.

He plays the most frustrating role but we all know he can do better. Ballon dor levels of better

He conserves too much energy which makes him look lazy a lot of the time. Good finisher but his link up play is nowhere near as good as what Aguero gave us.
 
He is not right atm and although it’s not proper competition his body language is nowhere near the first two seasons . Hopefully he starts scoring soon and he seems happy again .
