Another fine album and Burgess is on record as saying that's his favourite as by that time he felt they were all more accomplished musicians. Hard to choose between those three tbh.

I can barely name one single music journalist who really "got" the Chameleons.
The comparisons are clueless and lazy!

Good to hear. We were wondering ourselves what the reaction would be given that it wasn't on the whole a Chameleons crowd - and particularly choosing the less 'accessible' Soul In Isolation as a fair chunk of the set! - but yes, they seemed to go down well.

It was a shame that the interview with Vox at the other place clashed with JFM's set - which was superb.

Brilliant. We were discussing at the end which of the bands would have stayed to the end to see Kraftwerk, who were just great. Sadly only saw 20 minutes of PIL to ensure we saw all of Johnny Marr's set on the main stage but good to see them nonetheless.
