Uzbeckenbauer exists!!!

Look forward to seeing more of him this season.

BTW nice of Pep to try him out at Right Back as he loves versatile multi position players!

Wouldn’t be surprised if he was loaned out. Think he is still a bit raw for us and he is behind Dias, akanji, gvardiol and ake in the pecking order (not to mention stones)

I thought he was very decent this morning and his passing looked crisper and more confident. Patience with young players will serve us well as a fanbase because none of them are the finished article. Khusanov is an absolute athlete but not yet sure on his movement and control when pressed: he has strengths and areas to develop and he is very young. If they don't play, they won't develop in the way they could, so we have to learn that there will be some lesser performances on the way. I thought he looked more sure and I I feel that he will get there, just as I feel that with Reis.

He was fine, he hasn't played a proper game in a while at this point.

Some good long balls as well, slightly sloppy on the ground passes, but give that to some lack of experience and focus.

I like him in that wide RCB role with Ait Nouri wide.

Was one of the poorer performers, very rusty, unfortunately these are the games he needs to make an impression in. Has no time or room to be eased in. I do like him though.

I am beginning to think a loan may be best for him. A team like Burnley, where he would definitely be tested. They also try and play football so it could be a good fit.

Maybe Khusanov doesn't shine so much against weaker teams, but when you have to play against strong teams like Real, Liverpool or PSG, who dominate, you will see with his speed and strength how useful he is and he can even save the game. That's why he is valuable for MC.

He hasn't played for us in about 4 months, so he is obviously a little rusty. Some shocking comments in this thread. You all remember he was MOTM almost every time he played for us? Including playing against the likes of Vinicius in Madrid, or winning player of the month award with record number of votes. I would rather sell Akanji, Stones, or Ake than loan Khusanov. He is our future, the rest of them are slowly on their way out.

Yep. We want him to learn from Pep. The last thing we want is him being sent out on loan.
