With the rain expected tomorrow it looks like a draw to me, but bookies have india slight odds on.

Lanky got3 quick wickets before the BP cut off but missed the third point by 1. Now they have let Parky settle in and slowly get up to 350. Only a loss or draw look possible, and bad weather tomoz would suggest the latter.

If I were India I think once the lead gets beyond much 300, say 320, I'd take a bit of a gamble, and declare. England aren't getting that in the fourth innings. Not with people like Bumrah around. If the rain doesn't wash out the last day altogether, they could have a decent go at bowling England out. Starting with two or three wickets this evening.
It's what I'd do, anyway.

Got feeling England will have to bat for around 45mjns tonight! Crawley will be out then maybe 1/2 more unless it’s going to piss it down tomorrow be a tough one to draw or win

The one thing this England side can do a chase down a target and the pitch doesn’t look like it’s getting worse, so there’s no possibility they’ll be setting England 320.

Not sure why India are still batting. Even if there's a full day's play tomorrow, which looks doubtful, England won't get 350. Not on a day 5 Headingley wicket, with spin playing a major part.

Recent history would suggest otherwise…

That's true. 6 years ago, Stokes and Leach. I'm guessing that's what you're referring to? That's the only time England have successfully chased 350+ at Headingley. They've chased down 315 on another occasion, but nothing else over 300. Not at Headingley. The Aussies successfully chased 404 there, back in 1948. And no, I wasn't there!

The day 5 Headingley wicket really isn’t a thing anymore and hasn’t been since 2010. Sides batting first lose there more often than not and the average per 4th innings wicket is over 34, so might be a good game, especially if the weather holds.
Of course England might lose 4 wickets tonight and that will be that!
