Middle East Conflict | Netanyahu orders strikes on Gaza (p1161)

No idea what evidence would be. perhaps if the US could get on the same page and not be telling the world with one hand there is no evidence and then with the other bombing saying there is evidence might be a good start.

Also the idea they have no program anymore might be inaccurate seeing as there was so much telegraphing of the attack they managed to move at least 16 trucks worth of stuff out of the base before it was hit.

Best case they were moving centrifuges. worst case moving enriched nuclear material that could be used in a dirty bomb at least.
They're supposed to use shielded trucks to move Uranium, and certainly enriched Uranium would be under armed guard too. From what I've read only dump trucks were seen, probably reinforcing the facility with sand etc.

It's unlikely that Uranium was present but then who knows where it is now.

Iran are now attacking US bases in Qatar too. It's a bit of an excessive reaction to losing a few peaceful nuclear sites?

So let’s say they bring down a passenger jet, according to Al Jazeera they have form (Lockerbie). You’d be sitting here saying it’s ok they are only playing the game according to their parameters? Fly a jet in to an office building? Bomb on the US subway? All the sorts of things “sleeper cells” do.

Iran isn’t some innocent misunderstood nation hell bent on peace.

An eye for an eye eh? The whatabouterry is strong today.

So is the idea that terrorism is whatever I say it is, and a bomb in an arena is terrorism but dropping bombs from a plane, or stealing land isn't.

Attacking US bases Is an entirely inevitable reaction. As will be the US reaction to the reaction.

Hence rather wanting to have rock solid evidence before acting in the 1st place.

Who SHOULD have a nuke? Americans that shag their flag, please allegiance to Israel before their God OR Israel who are actually bat shit crazy & will go to any length, including terrorism, to get what they want? If you listen to military leaders across the world, they are pretty much all insane, some are just more emotive in their choice of language.
no one should have nukes is the simple answer

Is this an enormous US/israel counter to Russian aggression in Europe? I mean Russia can't commit anything to this fight, other than insanity

Can’t see what the long term legitimate objectives are here from Iran.

They know that if the US react it will be on a far bigger scale than the Iranians could manage.

CNN saying the US embassies in Qatar and Bahrain are in “duck and cover” position - whatever that means

no one should have nukes is the simple answer
And in a perfect world that would be true.

Problem is we KNOW how to make nukes, and without them, all it takes is one rogue state to make one in secret and they can force anyone in the world to bend the knee to them.

It is better to have and not need, than need and not have. Reduce their number? Yes. Eradicate the ICBM's? Yes. Eradicate entirely? Pipe dream.

If internet rumours are true it’s looking like 6 missiles at the US base in Qatar and 1 at a base in Iraq.

If true it’s either a measured response or they just don’t have the missiles left.
