Middle East Conflict | Netanyahu orders strikes on Gaza (p1161)

Can’t see what the long term legitimate objectives are here from Iran.

They know that if the US react it will be on a far bigger scale than the Iranians could manage.
Look if China had military bases in Belgium, France and Holland and had just blown up a nuclear power station in the UK how would you expect us to act.

Cower in a corner or come out all guns blazing, which is what Iran appears to be doing.

Aggression or violence against parties not in a time of war to achieve a political goal?

Again it’s the LITERAL definition of terrorism. And I can’t stand the Iranian regime, but let’s call a spade a fucking spade.

So is the idea that terrorism is whatever I say it is, and a bomb in an arena is terrorism but dropping bombs from a plane, or stealing land isn't.

So is Iran now a terrorist state for firing missiles in to Qatar? Or is it simply a good old fashioned act of war.

If internet rumours are true it’s looking like 6 missiles at the US base in Qatar and 1 at a base in Iraq.

If true it’s either a measured response or they just don’t have the missiles left.
Why send them at all, if it's the former.

Cnn reported 10 at Qatar and 1 at Iraq

Long term, who knows. Probably not good for them. Short term, they were always going to try to save some face after the U.S. attack.
