I must admit, it feels like we're back to the Alvarez situation a bit.
Echeverri runs with his head up and knows where his team mates are though, Diaz spent too much time (in the youth teams anyway) with his head down running into dead ends. His playstyle reminds me a bit of Brahim Diaz.
I think he looked good, unsure he can get any meaningful minutes here though.
Probably needs a loan.
He's not going on loan. Good enough to contribute
I don’t want him to go on loan but you look at the squad players have to go or loaned! Myby Gundo goes the rest there is no links or rumours! Probably we will see more movement after the club World Cup
Walker and Grealish are going to be off and so will 2 from Stones, Ake, Gundo and Kovacic imo. Kevs already gone and Macca looks off if a decent offer comes in. Claudio is young enough to not need to be registered in the PL aswell.
probably but some of these lads doing 'i want to stay' interview need to be told otherwise most likely. (I make it 5 more would need to go, if we buy no-one else and Reis/Eche dont go in the CL squad again)Pep want 22 players plus the 3 goalies can we get it down to 22 outfield players?
My worry is we won't be able to get rid of some of them.Echeverri runs with his head up and knows where his team mates are though, Diaz spent too much time (in the youth teams anyway) with his head down running into dead ends.
I really hope we don't loan him, if we can shift some of the old guard I think he'll get plenty of minutes here learning off Pep.
Next in line to be our Argie legend I'd guess. The loans bit is just nonsense I hope.Next in line for what and from that why do people make assumptions that its for a loan deal anyway ?
I sincerely hope so on both counts Cent.,after that first half performance.Next in line to be our Argie legend I'd guess. The loans bit is just nonsense I hope.
Regarding the old guard, Gundo has said he wants to stay, he has a contract. Bernardo is obviously staying now. Kovacic is injured for 2-3 months which you’d think makes a sale less likely. We’re just not going to shift them. Echeverri and Reis will both be loaned. We have Cherki, Foden, Bobb, Marmoush, Reijnders who can all play in central advanced areas and that before you consider the older players like Bernardo and Gundo and we also have O’Reilly who has always been an attack minded midfielder. Echeverri will benefit more from a loan, he isn’t going to play here this season.Echeverri runs with his head up and knows where his team mates are though, Diaz spent too much time (in the youth teams anyway) with his head down running into dead ends.

They all have contracts so that's immaterial. Gundogan said he's happy here, doesn't mean he is staying. Bernardo seems set to stay for the season, yes. Kovacic's injury won't make any difference if he's leaving, it's not like it's career ending.Regarding the old guard, Gundo has said he wants to stay, he has a contract. Still looking at 4 guys +1 gk not making the bench a week.
Back then, I thought Diaz could've developed better if he stayed with us, seemed talented. Unfortunately, he chose to waste precious years at Madrid's bench, only started to make some name for himself when he went to Milan. His playstyle reminds me a bit of Brahim Diaz.
I hate players who don't celebrate against their old teams. I think it is disrespectful to their current team. I don't know why it became a trend.Back then, I thought Diaz could've developed better if he stayed with us, seemed talented. It was a nice gesture when he didn't celebrate against us. At least he hadn't forgotten his time at City.
