I must admit, it feels like we're back to the Alvarez situation a bit.
Nope this kid is 2/3 years younger we could loan him out for next 2 seasons and still bring him back to be in our squad. Players also know we will do the best for them as a player plus if a player wants to go we will let them for a fee we set..

Echeverri runs with his head up and knows where his team mates are though, Diaz spent too much time (in the youth teams anyway) with his head down running into dead ends.His playstyle reminds me a bit of Brahim Diaz.
I think he looked good, unsure he can get any meaningful minutes here though.
Probably needs a loan.
I really hope we don't loan him, if we can shift some of the old guard I think he'll get plenty of minutes here learning off Pep.

He's more of a second striker, so he could be a good back up for Haaland or play alongside him like Alvarez did. Marmoush is more of a left forward.

Walker and Grealish are going to be off and so will 2 from Stones, Ake, Gundo and Kovacic imo. Kevs already gone and Macca looks off if a decent offer comes in. Claudio is young enough to not need to be registered in the PL aswell.

Regarding the old guard, Gundo has said he wants to stay, he has a contract. Bernardo is obviously staying now. Kovacic is injured for 2-3 months which you’d think makes a sale less likely. We’re just not going to shift them. Echeverri and Reis will both be loaned. We have Cherki, Foden, Bobb, Marmoush, Reijnders who can all play in central advanced areas and that before you consider the older players like Bernardo and Gundo and we also have O’Reilly who has always been an attack minded midfielder. Plus, he competes with too many players for a starting place, including Bobb.
I'd be surprised if both Evheverri and Bobb were here in September. One is highly likely to leave on loan.

Note that I don't have a clue what will actually happen. We've also got 10(?) weeks of this back and forth conversations, I'd hope for some early movement, maybe we'll see one or two being removed from the CWC squad after Juventus rather than playing in the knockout rounds?

It was a nice gesture when he didn't celebrate against us. At least he hadn't forgotten his time at City.

Now if you spent most of your career in one place and left late in your career to go finish out somewhere else, i get that. The old team is really your legacy.
But guys who played 2 to 3 years in in or 2 clubs on their way to the top, should simply just celebrate there goals. The fake humility annoys me more than anything.
