Away at Villa and Palace (if they're in the EL) in October and December respectively will both definitely not be on Saturday due to the Thursday night action.
Palace at home much later in the season will potentially be affected but that's due to the EL knockout stages so possibly a bit early to be even thinking about that one.

Shouldn’t make any difference in theory. Although there’s nine English teams in Europe, only three of them are in the Thursday cups, same as last season.

Sky will show all those Sunday games. But not move any more than normal, specifically for TV.
 
People saying the rags have a tough start but I don't think that's necessarily the case.

It's very rare for any side, even the top sides, to start the season by hitting the ground running with excellent and consistent form and a perfect rhythm, united have as good a chance as any of catching out those superior sides in those early season fixtures.

So I had another look those games look like they’ll be definitely Sunday. Won’t be Monday because there’s league cup games the following week

First few games always throw out a couple of strange results
Don’t be surprised if they turn Burnley over
 
Anyone know the date/time tickets will become available to members?

Kept checking official website last season & just said July so unless you check it every morning you might miss out. Thanks.

It was mid July last year for a similar mid August season start. 17th for the big 6 games then 18th for the pile-in scrum, or something around those dates from memory.
 
Can somebody please advise me when the TV companies decide on the actual days they are going to broadcast individual games.
I'm going away on the afternoon of Sunday 13th September, so if the game against United switched from Saturday 12th to Sunday 13th , I may have to give it a miss.
