Can you guys link me to what you're talking about as I genuinely can't remember this
Can't find a link. But he consistently reported that City were facing Draconian punishment throughout the UEFA probe and the CAS case. This was the line leaked out by other Club Directors and those close to the UEFA leadership right up to the last 48 hours before City were cleared A lot of this false information was also pumped out by Nick Harris and the usual suspects and Sam Lee became too close to these propagandists and toed their party line. Given his job was to cover Manchester City you might have thought he would have checked this narrative with the club like Martin Samuel obviously did. Anyway Ian Cheesman got the scoop on CAS and the rest is history. Sam Lee missed the story like most of the UK media.

The mental gymnastics some of you lot go through to deduce that the world hates City are quite something. There's absolutely nothing wrong at all with that De BRuyne article. I found it informative and I suspect quite accurate.

It's obvious Kev didn't want to leave. That's a positive, not a bloody negative.

H also made his snide comments & then claim everyone mis-understood.

Made no attention to learn what PB & Stefan said but wanted to learn from the WhatsApp group.

Sam Lee is a ****!

Every time I've dealt with him he's always been really nice. I spoke to him a few times on the podcast and when we're getting setup beforehand or after and he's a pretty funny guy, especially when we were joking back and forth about United. I actually DM'ed him recently to clarify some information about the Academy and he looked into it and got back to me. Never have a bad word to say about him, just a normal bloke. He certainly doesn't hate City. In fact it was only a few weeks ago where him and Jason Burt got into a ding-dong because Sam snidely remarked on the hypocrisy towards City and the reporting of them

i just think Lee should have been more measured and balanced in his coverage. When a man who chooses his words as carefully as Khaldoon uses a phrase like "irrefutable proof" you should at least consider the possibility that he might be telling the truth. All I have ever wanted from the media is "fairness, accuracy, and balance" I have no problem with City being criticised, when they make mistakes, but everything has to be reported in context.

At least now, media say City always claim they are innocent. Nobody said that then, someone who reckoned they were close to the club should have.

He reports on city for fans of other teams.

I don't know him and he may well be a decent person. The problem I have is that he doesn't break many genuine stories about City and doesn't seem to have good contacts at the club. He could have made his career if he had chosen not to follow the clickbait herd on the City finance story. The real story about the behind doors skullduggery and corruption from other Club Directors and some football leaders is of genuine public interest. Why has the New York Times led the way so much on the scandal with United's finances but most of the UK media has not followed it up? Why is Martin Samuel the only reporter who has the balls to report issues fairly?

I’ve never bothered with City podcasts. Rarely listen to them in general. Which is this?

& that’s how you should judge him but for me I found him snide.

He absolutely did write in terms that suggested the club was guilty of something. Would say it was shortly before the CAS verdict landed.

I remember calling him a wankstain for so doing.

I think the Mackintosh raincoat was 'invented' in there, i.e the process to rubberise cloth and make it waterproof. Ties in with the rubber that Dunlop were using?
Nah. Invented by Charles Mackintosh in Cumbernauld near Glasgow around the 1820's. Merged with Hancock Rubber of Manchester in 1830. Dunlop took over Hancock Rubber in 1925. Sorry to be a stickler but I spent my whole career in the Rubber Industry LOL!

I heard a snippet of Thesaurus Jordan on Talk Sport late on this morning - him and Jim Shite talking to a "lawyer" about City and how we were dealing with 115, and obviously delaying things. No impartiality whatsoever; leading questions all over the shop. I could only bear it for a few minutes then off it had to go.

The lawyer was shite as well - and, no, it wasn't Stefan.
