Was there too. Rain delay was fun - were singing songs with other City fans. I think I was in Sec 146 but don't remember. It was behind goal. Where Orlando Cityzens were seated. Yeah, def muggy. Gonna be around 90 at kickoff tomorrow with thunder showers possible.

2pm for me in CDT and I'll be working, so only able to keep up on the City Official site, unless I can blag DAZN on my work computer network.

Currently 34 degrees here and 60% humidity (Around 400 miles NW of Orlando).

56 years 2 months - my user name was the start of it. No nada interest in footy until that rainy afternoon when I was watching TV at my mates, her dad had the cup final on and I was just taken with Nelly Youngs goal. I was an 11 year old girl at the time and it began. My mum and dad were very surprised when I asked for the 1969 City Football book ( by Peter Gardener) for one of my Christmas presents - my bros not at all interested in football!

69 years for me after watching the 1956 Cup final on TV as a 9 year old. I was on a school journey and the teacher said that all boys could watch the cup final, the girls would be taken to the beach. I was having none of that. I told them, I am a girl but I love football as much as all the boys and my team are playing. They let me watch. I love this club.

me too, would not have predicted this, but it turned out to be a pretty fun tournament. Hopefully not gonna affect our season, but since you cannot do anything about it and its happening - try to win it.

Juventus always need some applaud, grand club, have strong team, but I want to believe we gonna be very strong this season. More clear thing is we seen two different 11 with hungry players to prove the point to Pep. Those whose gonna get a game time will try their best. And we actually have very good players. I would be dissapointed with a draw. Plus its a brutal difference with finishing 1 or 2 in the group, brackets are crazy unequal

Good on you for knowing your own mind in the 1950s! Way to go girls

I love the club too, feels like a comfort blanket, although at times 'comfort' hasn't always been the right word....
 
Looking at the weather it’s going to be circa 33 degrees tomorrow at kick off and chance of thunderstorms. I hope there won’t be any storm delays!

We should be beating juve fairly comfortably imo. They are bang average

I remember us playing them in 1976 in the UEFA Cup , think we won 1-0 first leg at home. At the time the most electric atmosphere I remember as a lad in the Kippax! Anyone else there ??

Agreed. First half in Turin last December we were far superior. Gave the game away that day.
Confident we will make amends.
 
I'd start Echeverri. Let's see if the hype holds up when he has to hop on one foot. No more softly softly. Sink or swim I say.

But they can be defensive and we can't play at full intensity for 90 mins due to the heat

Pep press conference is out. Echeverri out for 2-3 weeks
