It helps a lot in the PSR era. We were probably down a fair amount on what the club would have budgeted for internally last season after going out of the CL in the playoff round - prize money from the CWC will make up that shortfall.

It nails the lie from idiotic pundits that the pl;ayers don't care about the CWC. The level of passion and commitment shown in most of the games I have seen has been more intense than most early stages CL games and international qualifiers.

every follow my team ticket is the same tickets amongst different clubs. there are a set number and every set of fans is effectively buying the same tickets. the person you spoke to at Fifa is just an idiot I am afraid. it isn’t like “The Producers” from Mel Brooks. Think about it. there were 32 teams, if every set of fans bought 2500 that would be 80000 tickets provisionally sold already.

I understand the logic of it, but I was told due to the poor sales for the final (look at what’s available on Ticketmaster) the supporters of teams that lose in the latter knockout rounds would be provided with an option to buy. Whether that’s the same or a replacement ticket, they didn’t say.

i imagine that is possible under the assumption that most people would say no. if everyone says yes that’s a problem. so they will probably say “you have x hours to say you still want one but it is first come first serve”

I’m guessing, I don’t know, but may be only for losers from Qtr & Semi. As you say, most will say no, but if you’re already in NJ/NY I’m guessing a few would take up the option.

This is the same system that applies for the World Cup. I have been to three you get conditional tickets for the team you are following.

Premium is 1080p / 60fps / 8Mbps

Premium also has HDR and 5.1 Sound if you have a supported devices and all matches are archived in full.
