Fuck Heaton Park BH - it'll take you 4 hours to get back into town afterwards.
To the extent that I'm going watching in New Jersey - no kidding.......... :-)
After the stone roses took us about an. hr to get back to Oldham St in town, but we were looking for mares amd walkong slowly due to crowdsFuck Heaton Park BH - it'll take you 4 hours to get back into town afterwards.

It's an exaggeration but last time with Oasis it seemed to take an absolute fucking age to get out of the place...........4 hours? It's about 3 miles. You could walk it in 50 minutes.
If you wanna good drink beforehand, and miss all the tram queues from town, get early tram to The Beehive pub. Only 10mins walk from there to the park and They have a £2 a pint lager on as well that is very drinkable. Not gonna lie, I’m buzzing for it.
Got heaton park with 4 mates and London by myself.
I grew up with them but was too young for the gigs in the 90s. But have seen them numerous times. But this will be the first time seeing them when they were not promoting an album and therefore playing the new stuff when all everyone wanted to hear was the classics.Oasis's first two albums were superb (as is The Masterplan). Later albums had sprinklings of great songs and plenty thats mediocre. I've seen them live 3 times - at the Etihad, at the Reebok and at the real old trafford. Each time the concerts were good, enjoyable but not great - and they were short, very short. I just don't get why so many people are happy to pay such huge sums for tickets for what is, obviously, a cash grab.
Good luck to those going, and hope everyone enjoys them, but I just don't get it.
My lad bought the jacket and tee shirt but having seen the prices on Ebay, vinted etc say he might not wear them now lol.
I'm naturally a tight arse but wish I had bought the jacket it's mint

What tram stop is that? It sounds like a plan.If you wanna good drink beforehand, and miss all the tram queues from town, get early tram to The Beehive pub. Only 10mins walk from there to the park and They have a £2 a pint lager on as well that is very drinkable.

Maybe because they love the band, love the music, have wanted to see the comeback for years and want to experience it with the new generation. Everything is a cash grab these days. Did you pay over £150 for the FA Cup final that was shown live on terrestrial TV stations like me?Oasis's first two albums were superb (as is The Masterplan). Or, like my Wife, loved them first time out, but never saw them live?Oasis's first two albums were superb (as is The Masterplan).
