Cheers - should have checked that myself. Sounds like he'd be closer to being a backup for Carson than to being first choice!
 


ps Has some advantages and disadvantages the balance of which Pep Guardiola doesn't like in the game Man City is currently playing against Liverpool at Anifeld.
 
Like pretty much everyone, he had an off season, but can get back to his best. Think him staying one more season suits everyone. With the huge rebuild we're having (8 signings if you include the ones in January), it probably doesn't make sense to change keepers too. Plus, he gets more leverage negotiating the last big contract of his career when his current one expires next summer
