I don't want to go overboard on this, because it's one mistake. But I've genuinely been thinking for some time that Ed's passing is not quite what it was. More passes out to the wing go straight out of play, now (still fewer than virtually every other keeper) — towards the end of last season — where he just used to put them effortlessly on a dime.
