Great first half. Doku and Savinho doing well, be good for sav’s confidence if he scores.

Judge Reijnders looks a fantastic signing.

I’m not his biggest fan, but Savio has been a lot better tonight. Both wingers seem to have been given freedom and it’s suiting them, especially Doku. He’s been superb. Reijnders a game changer with those forward runs from midfield. Nunes miles better at right back with a confident team around him. Rodri by his own standards quite poor, but we are so much calmer and more in control with him on the pitch. Marmoush movement and technique outstanding - I’d be worried if I were Erling. We’re so much more fluid without him. We need to get him involved and drop deeper like he did in the last 8 games of the treble season. He only scored a couple of goals in those games but opened everything up for Gundo etc when he dropped deeper. Imagine what it would do now we’ve got Reijnders, Cherki and an in form Foden. Eddie - oh dear. But you need to accept a few of those if you want the good parts of his game. Ait Nuri brilliant. And Berni outstanding - running the show. We’ve got our City back
 
Both fullbacks capable of playing on the overlap or coming inside, so we can rock up to any team and mix it up depending on what we think will work best, Doku/Sav or Cherk/Foden or a mix

Personally don’t think we can find a better suited right back than Nunes, he’ll make the position his own this year
 
Nunes been good but you can see defensively he sometimes just follows where the ball goes,ball watching, instead of watching the runner.
 
Both Savinho and Doku taking the right options.
Best I've seen them both playing so well at the same time.
