I didn't understand the negative comments about DAZN.
They didn't add the price tag on every time they named a City player, they didn't have Spitty and the other prick. No outright gobby rag like Ferdinand, in fact no hate at all.
I'd take the camera issues they had over shots of some ex dipper in the stand and 5 minutes of the maganger picking his nose like sky give us, or tnt's adverts for future events plastered across the screen as City attack.
Pretty good all round and more importantly free :)

I watched the DAZN extended highlights on YouTube this morning with South American (Argentinian?) commentary.

Goooooooooooooooooalll!!! Savinhoooooooooooo!

Far more entertaining!
This is my ringtone when Sergio scored on 93:20. It went off once whilst I was waling up the nave of Nantes Cathedral! It has the power of turning heads wherever it goes off!

I don't go on the BBC sports website, I still use ceefax/teletext on my TV.

Top story "Real Madrid beat RB Salzburg to reach CWC last 16" and the last story is "Ugly scenes as Inter beat River Plate to reach CWC last 16"

Nowhere in between is there a single mention of us on there. Last night was clearly a figment of my imagination.

Even at our lowest point were we ever as fucking bitter as those childish knobs at rag central Salford? Bitter childish cunts!
OK I'm struggling with the meaning of this post. Teletext no longer exists so whilst City aren't mentioned neither are Real etc. so what is the point I am missing?

I think the matchday centre does a good impression of Teletext. And if yer just look every couple of minutes yer can fully celebrate each goal 'cos it's unlikely that the score that's showing will be chalked off by VAR. Never ever saw a goal chalked off on Teletext.

Oh dear, the desperation of the Racistgraph, (Telegraph) to belittle the CWC went up another level this morning.
Apparently more people watched England's U21's on channel 4 than watched City on channel 5.
I didn't even know it was on Channel 5, I watched on DAZN as did everyone under the age of 85, who is not white, and an ex Sergeant Major, B company
, 2nd Battalion, 24th (2nd Warwickshire Foot) Regiment of Foot.*
(I came here to build a bridge.)

* Later known as the South Wales Borderers.

The commentators were much better than sky no digs that I picked up on, just nice impartial comments but, knowledge is always key and he didn't know Kidd was with us after the rags or mainly with us. There was something else said as well on another subject but, I can't remember what it was now.

Overall, 9/10.
I don't mind that Connor McNamara, one of the better commentators.

You're missing the fact that it still exists and it's still an option on BBC channels.

BBC, red button, page 302, BBC SPORTS TV text service. Football index news. Whatever the fuck it's called nowadays if I've used the wrong terminology and said "teletext" instead of whatever the modern equivalent is. :)

Lots of people who don't live their lives umbilically connected to a "smart" phone still use it for updates on all manner of subjects, including sports reports.

The state of this…..
I usually read most football-related stories I come across, even if they are about teams I dislike. When I saw that last night however, I could tell it was going to be sycophantic crap and decided to pass on it.

Red Button TV text is its name.

Or Telly Text for short ;)

This is particularly nostalgic, as I was in the midst of darkest wales on holiday at a house, no phone signal, very old tv!

Ok you have taught me something (although it doesn't seem to work on Sky Q).
