There was a stat 2 years or so ago that showed, the more touches Foden had of the ball (I want to say like 50+) the more success City had.

It was weird how accurate it was, but it showed a clear trend, back when Foden was on top of the world, if we just let him influence the game more, we always won.

I suspect we see that brought back a bit with Foden this season, and perhaps even moreso, we will see this with Cherki.

If we just let him have the ball more and more, our win% will probably be higher, it might seem like an obvious fact among many on here, but it might be that simple in the upcoming season.

Let Foden and Cherki together run the game, get everyone else around them to work off of them, and we will in every game we play.

Spot on. Love the way he hardly looked at the ball. Reminded me of the start of my love in with City players when Kenny Clements managed to keep one of his crosses on the pitch in the early 70s.
