They couldn’t award it to City as the last time we had a recognised left back was Kolorov who was playing centre half for Pep in his final season for the club.
Mendy and Walker were more than decent, until Ben did his cruciate.

Delph did a brilliant job, considering he was a defensive midfielder by trade.

I saw that, and thought the same.

I didn’t even know a full-back pairing was a thing.
Doesn't really matter though, add the world's best full back pairing to the world's best centre half and goalkeeper, the best atmosphere and most knowledgeable crowd, etc and count the number of premier leagues they have won. If only we'd had such talent at our disposal

Was reading the following headline on my phone earlier today:
"Transfer window weekly: Liverpool turn to Hato; Arsenal to make moves?"

I must have been reading quickly, and misread Hato as hate. As in " Liverpool turn to hate," and said to myself, "they're so evil they don't care that people know this anymore."

Of course I was wrong, and remembered that they only ever operate in the shadows. My mistake.

Good player but not worth any panic

Haaland has an off season in a team that's dropped off and hardly provided for him, plus out for a month or more injured and still scores as many as Isak, who had his best ever season.

Get our team creating again and Haaland leaves Isak for dust. Not even comparable when they're both at their best.
33 goal “off season”

you see the difference? When haaland doesn’t score it’s the teams fault when he scores he‘s the best striker in the world. That’s doesn’t make much sense , eh.
Both score differently anyways. Isak creates for himself and Haaland is just effective. 2 different type of strikers who are on top of their game.
It’s like the comparison between Haaland and Mbappe.

These twats from what I have been told not including sales have £200m more to spend yet this summer. Seems they all think they can get Isak and Guehi

Well, we spent about £ 300m since January. I think they’ll be selling a few players for good money, which will give them a big budget, plus see next year Salah go to Saudi for massive money, and why he got a new contract! They’ll be competing now for the league for a long time.

To be fair they were a bit part of Klopp's strategy in the teams that challenged (mostly unsuccessfully) Pep' City.
Liverpool's midfiled of that era was mostly functional and hard running without much flair so the attacking fullbacks (and favourable officiating) were vital to them.

The BBC coverage can be cloying but they did do some positive stuff for KdB when he left.
