I'm sensing it may be an advantage to watch some of this being signed...
They have played post-punk, dance, funk, soft rock and pop. What more do you want grandad?! ;-)Have they got any variety? I feel like I’ve been listening to the same song for the last hour, and this idiot front man is unstable. I’d steer clear of him. Looks a proper odd ball.
They're crap. So weak. Fine for Radio 1's One Big Weekend or something I suppose. But this is Glasto ffsHave they got any variety? I feel like I’ve been listening to the same song for the last hour, and this idiot front man is unstable. I’d steer clear of him. Looks a proper odd ball.
Glasto has been pop for a looooooong time nowThey're crap. So weak. Fine for Radio 1's One Big Weekend or something I suppose. But this is Glasto ffs
I just heard a load of background noise and watched someone who clearly thinks he’s some kind of god. They have played post-punk, dance, funk, soft rock and pop. What more do you want grandad?! ;-)
Pretty decent set tonight though. I enjoyed it, surprisinglyshe's utter shite
She butchered Ironic, she let the crowd sing a lot of the chorusPretty decent set tonight though. I enjoyed it surprisingly
Many a true word spoken in wine spitting out jest....I'm sensing it may be an advantage to watch some of this being signed...
Not that long, only last few years I think. To be fair my last one was 2016 (a really muddy one) and it wasn't like this then. But maybe 9 years is a long time. Anyway it doesn't feel "pop" when you're there, especially if you spend more than half the time away from the main stages and enjoy the smaller areas. Particularly the SE naughty corner! BBC gives a very distorted idea of the festival IMHO xxGlasto has been pop for a looooooong time now
The jagged pill girl belting out some old hits. All out of tune
that's fine, different strokes and all that. She just doesn't do it for me as top of the undercard at Glasto on a Friday night – mind you, those headliners set a pretty low barPretty decent set tonight though. I enjoyed it surprisingly
I fkn wishHad to turn her off. Couldn’t understand half of what she was saying and looked like she wasn’t moving her jaw when singing. Was like it was wired shut.
Haha Chris…. Trust you!Years ago I was competing a comedy night at Coach and Four in Wilmslow. Was taking the piss out of a lad at the front because he said he was a singer in a band. He was quite chubby then and had big glasses on so I was calling him Joe 90 and he was proper pissed off.
In the interval his mam and dad turned up bladdered, straight from the airport after a holiday. He told his mam and dad I'd been taking the piss out of him and they threatened to batter me when I was outside having a fag.
His mam and dad were Denise Welch and Tim Healy. Joe 90 was Matt, the lead singer of 1975
Just saying that to Mrs Unicorn, real variety, proper show. Enjoyed them live in 2017 (only redeeming feature of Latitude). They have played post-punk, dance, funk, soft rock and pop. What more do you want grandad?! ;-)
Watched Wet Leg earlier.
Interesting!
Wunderhorse were brilliant. Teal was class. Jacob Slater is a fucking nutter and I love it.
Best thing I've seen on the box so far. They should have been headlining
Uninvited, Hand in my pocket and Thank You were great however. She butchered Ironic, she let the crowd sing a lot of the chorus
