My brother Ian sadly died last weekend of a heart attack aged just 67. Ian (Priest) was a lifelong blue who followed City everywhere throughout his life. Lately you might have seen him either at the back of 111 or sat in his wheelchair having a vape in the bogs.
His losing a leg was problematic, to say the least, but allowed me and him to spend the last few seasons going to the Bulls Head for a few beers then onto the game together as I was his carer at the match (or personal assistant as he described me :-)
I’m going to miss him in a million ways but I’m also going to miss the mates we’ve made in the disabled section. Obviously I will have to sit elsewhere now so if any of you are reading this, thanks for enduring our late arrival every match and Ian’s occasional nodding off.
