Glastonbury 2025

I'd heard of them - I'm going to see them next Saturday.

I also had tickets to see Kneecap before they were charged.

I'm thinking I might get tickets to see Coldplay next.
And your username contains the name of a festival where 1,200 people were massacred by the people they support. Some on here don't do irony.

I wonder if this is either because:

A - They're all antisemitic

or

B - They're protesting against this country's government and establishments like the BBC, which are complicit in the ongoing genocide in Gaza

People can be upset about atrocities happening in other countries, but obviously they'll be more enraged when their own country is at fault
LOL. Gaza is all the UK's fault now. Do me a favour and stop trying to twist logic.

Also interesting that is reported that a "Glastonbury spokesman" has condemned the actions of one particular performer yesterday.

Funny how the Eavis's were happily quoted saying everyone was welcome and that if you didn't like it then basically fuck off the other day. Suddenly it's a '"Glastonbury spokesman".

Those two fucking weasels haven't even had the guts to put their names to that statement, which must have at least been approved by, if not issued by, them.
Unfortunately, Emily Eavis condemned it on her Instagram:

The Prodigy tonight will be worth a watch, might have a very early night tonight and wake up for them then watch the blues and straight to work at 4 40 am
I have tomorrow off work. :) I am looking forward to their set this evening. I watched the Isle of Wight set (from last year) last night when Neil Young started. Just awesome.....

It's been a pretty dire year this year although 2023 and 2024 were very good always going to have a shit year.

What? Go see Rammstein live. Absolutely fuck all like them.

Numan changed from his synth driven songs to a heavier sound quite a few years ago, partly due to him guesting on a NIN's version of Our Friends. Before he went all synth he was guitar based.
Numan is definitely more Nine Inch Nails than Rammstein. But I suppose they all have that industrial rock/metal sound.
