I Will Say This

Unless they're under strict instructions to NEVER lose possession even if it means endlessly passing sideways at walking pace, in which case all those player's skills and attributes... speed, trickery, unpredictablity... are rendered completely ineffective.
As cloughie said "the oppos can't score without the ball" ..still correct 99.75% of the time. Ill take that as a base to work from..only need two or three riskier bits of play to win then. Safer option. Preserves energy..but a little stale to watch.

If you have a left side of Doku, Ait-Nouri and Marmoush, and a right side of Foden, Cherki/Savinho and Nunes, you are going to be exceptionally hard to deal with.
If you replace Nunes with a competent right back - and Doku and Savinho suddenly find some level of consistency that has eluded them so far - then you may be right.

Attacking wise, we’re loads better. Players wanting to go forward, everybody in there have their own unique set of skills and, most importantly, there’s runners around one another pulling the opposition around.

We just need some of the chances to fall to those more clinical - Haaland, Foden, Cherki, Marmoush - rather than Savinho, Doku, Bernie.

The issue is the centre of defence and in net.
