This year he has bought. Let's see how he really copes with a Slot squad and key players getting older.
I predict Slot will not win another league title.

City could become a frightening beast if we don't get caught with injuries.
Get a specialist RB and we should be good to go.

Pellegrini redux?
 

I think we could well end up with a season like this, the team from what I see look fired up, we have an overlapping left back to feed Haaland, two decent wingers, the centre looks fantastic and get a great right back and we will be solid. Looking at that video always gives me goosebumps at just how good we were then, even better than the treble season, the entertainment was off the charts and KDB was sublime, prime Aguero, Sane and Sterling. I think this squad could do similar.
 
We will be fantastic to watch whatever the outcome. Whether we will win the league, I'm not sure but I wouldn't bet against us. Before the window shuts I feel we still need a proper right back.
 
Lucky to get top 4 with that defence.


We're going to be Spurs on steroids next year, or very Pellegrini esq.

I think we're just going to have to accept that Pep is going to play his favourites until they leave in free contracts. He has no ability to move these guys on in his mind, he thinks they're all 25.
So expect a Gvardiol, Stones, Dias, Akanji defence behind Gundogan, Rodri and Silva for most of the season.
We will have to wait a year until most of their contracts to go to see what the next Pep team will look like.

Spot on,up to viana to take the players away from pep and move them on..
 
No chance with 1. Ederson as our main goalkeeper, 2. Playing a high defensive line, and 3. continuing to depend on old guards like Silva and Gundogan.
 
Oh I don’t know never judge a team on a handful of games better to see what needs fixing in games like this before the serious stuff starts in August,oh and move certain players on ..
 
We need to fix our central defence. Possibly Ries and Khusanov are the answer.

I am not happy that Pep went with Dias and Gvardiol as the two central defenders. I've never liked them as a pair. I think that they are both good players but neither are quick.

Ederson has won loads with City.

City play possession football. Of course we play with a high line

Silva and Gundogan are not the reason we condeded 4 goals.

The most obvious question when you concede 4 goals to a team that as few chances is to look at the central defenders.
