agree, wouldn't take much into the formations or personnel from this tournament. Been evident in every game there are things being tried in setup, pairings etc.

I don't think double wide wingers should be tried anymore.
Doku and Sterling PL performance in their second season at City. Doku has as many assists as Sterling in 60% of the minutes. Better overall G+A per minute too
Maybe the solution is to have both of them taking turns for one position - a single player who stays wide (targeting the weaker side of the opposition defense), while the other winger tucks in - Foden, Cherki, etc.. More than their individual quality, two wide players doesn't seem to work especially when we have really attacking full backs anyway.
