Middle East Conflict | Netanyahu orders strikes on Gaza (p1161)

To quote a once popular TV show " The truth is out there" and its a mere few clicks away

That was horrific. Even if there are tunnels, terrorists, hostages or anything within the hospital grounds it is inexcusable to do what the Israelis did.

I hope I never have to deal with an Israeli ever again.

Their government, defense forces and right wing civilians are utter scum. I pity the genuinely decent Israelis that live among them.

I actually thought it was pretty light!

Lot to go at in the documentary but fucking hell who the fuck even debates for the right to rape prisoners? How can you pin that one on hamas? How do you defend that? And what does any sane person think of that? And why would you want to do it or want anyone else to do it?

in what way is an army who promotes the rape of captives - thats male rape - as being normal allowed and the right to claim to be the "most moral army in the world"?

Don't laugh. It stems from the doctrine of "purity of arms".

The IDF servicemen and women will use their weapons and force only for the purpose of their mission, only to the necessary extent and will maintain their humanity even during combat. IDF soldiers will not use their weapons and force to harm human beings who are not combatants or prisoners of war, and will do all in their power to avoid causing harm to their lives, bodies, dignity and property.

1. If it was all just a simple yes and no this would all have been ended a long time ago. Nothing about this is a simple yes or no answer.

2. Your question in part two is totally emotive and leading to get the answer you want. If you want people to debate with you at least make the question fair. If you asked 'Do you condone the Palestinian people for allowing terrorists to hide amongst them and do you think Israel have the right to protect their people and stop this happening?' you'd get the opposite answer.
Yes because that is a completely different question (well two questions) -

Any right minded people must answer yes to his original question.

Your questions - "Do you condone the Palestinian people for allowing terrorists to hide amongst them" - really? do the Palestinian people allow this - have the thousands of women and children killed as part of the 54,000 dead had a choice in the matter?

"does Israel have the right to protect their people" - absolutely but to flatten a whole country and commit genocide? Absolutely no. Rather like "do I have the right to protect my home" - yes i do if someone breaks in i can use reasonable force, however I cant them chased them down the street and smash their head in with a hammer.

Pages and pages of this seems to be arguments from extremes. No one is saying only Israel is wrong, the original attack was the spark that ignited something that has been going on for decades with both sides escalating it.

However all debate these says seems to have to be from extremes - which is basically why the world is heading for the sh*tstorm we are in now

I think you missed the whole point of what I wrote which was basically asking for balanced debate rather than emotive questions

Ahh. So the brains of Britain on here who claimed hamas were shooting Palestinians were talking shit again. What a surprise that is

Re the gang rape shown on last night's doc - thats not even the only israeli gang rape caught ON VIDEO. There was this from August 2024 too:

Obviously israel let the Israeli rapo's off - Link

Fair enough however not sure how the question could be raised and not be "emotive" as we have a modern high tech armoured military reducing what was pretty much already a third world country into dust and in the process killing in excess of 50,000 civilians destroying 94% of the medical facilities and blocking food and aid from being delivered to displaced civilians whose homes, jobs and businesses are now dust.

I guess that is more a factual point of view than use of the word "genocide" (even though that is I believe what is happening) - Would that be a better phrasing?

As I said pages and pages of arguments (as you say emotion) which takes away from the fact of what is happening on the ground.

The irony of that the outrage of someone saying something is apparently way more serious than the outrage of what is going on on the ground in Gaza strikes me as not right.

The amount of companies now involved supporting Israel is off the charts. They could also be up for Economic Genocide

How the fuck are Booking.com & Airbnb allowing Settlers on occupied land to advertise the properties theve stolen..

With the health care system largely in ruins, it's a tiny fraction of the number who desperately need to leave for treatment.

The WHO estimates there are 10,000 patients, including 4,000 children, who need medical care which isn't available to them inside Gaza.

Ten thousand people including 4,000 children in need of treatment that can’t be provided in Gaza and to our shame we only lifted 19 out for treatment

Ahhh! look at the way they have to collect food in Gaza, it’s a shooting gallery ( I’ve seen how the Jewish people) were treated in the last century people begging for food same as all atrocities the Israeli government has clearly lost all sense of shame and our government is complicit watching it unfold in the 21st century.
There can be no justification for this shooting people without a trial

The israel lobby and our western leaders wont want another Rahaf/Ms Rachel situation, so they would prefer these children were left to die in agonising pain

I mean God forbid the West actually see 3 year old double amputee palestinian children as actual human beings

As the Michael Rosen poem goes "Don't mention the children"
