I was poking a bit of fun really.

I believe the standard of many young players who go through City's academy and youth teams is actually high compared to other clubs.

100%, it's why I'm actually quite optimistic about Delap. He was developed by City's system. That's not fool proof in of itself, but it gives him a significant chance of succeeding at Chelsea.

Having spent all that money, how, aside from selling a hotel (and womens team - I think) how the fuck are Chelsea conforming with the in place regulations?

You answered your own question. Selling the womens team and the two hotels is almost certainly the sole reason we're clear of any PSR breaches this year.

In fairness, every ex City youth player we've signed has performed pretty good. Palmer is obvious, Lavia is injury prone but shows his class every time he plays and Tosin has been much better than I expected. Delap is TBD.

The Brighton lot is a bit more of a mixed bag. Caicedo has been a resounding success, Cucurella took a long time to settle but he's now one of our most important players, and then we have Robert fucking Sanchez, an actual joke of a keeper. Joao Pedro is TBD.
Joao Pedro is a very good player. However he is a bit of a twat. Better than Jackson and Delap at the moment for me, but Delap May prove to be a great buy

I don't mind a twat. I love a shithousing twat on my team. I hope you are right of course.

I'm pretty happy about the Delap signing. So far I'm a bit underwhelmed by Joao Pedro.

He’s in the same bracket as Richarlison for shit housing

From what I've seen of Delap, I think he's a very good Forward.
A lot of skill and high technique for a big lad, looks determined, classy and confident

I remember early last season the goal he scored for Ipswich when on a counter attack he broke away ,dribbling the ball at full speed the length of the pitch ,defenders in his wake ...despite the lung busting run,he still had the presence of mind ...,and composure.. to score with a very well measured shot, put away ,just where the keeper had no chance of getting it..
I was really impressed by the goal ( can't remember who opponents were) and just watching his ball control in tight situations ,his turning circle, and belief in himself, I reckon he could be the new Kerry Dixon of Stamford Bridge.....a bit before your time I guess but you get my drift

But then again ,sigh ..this is Chelsea we're talking about,.....with their dizzy ,revolving door policy he could be at Monaco or sporting Lisbon by Xmas ; )

I do find it amusing that people rate Caceido. He cost around £100m yet players like him are 10 a penny. £100m for someone whose only 'attribute' is that he 'gets stuck in'.

I was never a big fan of Joey Barton but at City he was as good as Caceido is now.

Interesting point raised there.
What I would say is the Chelsea man often seemed to dominate/ control the central midfield and appear to win virtually every challenge he went into
Weather that's worth £100 M I'm not quite sure.

Barton..for all his faults often looked to introduce flair to his game once he'd won the ball and was always looking to play a ball as a creator , in stark contrast to Caicedo who basically recycles..

Interesting argument that. .

In an era when Elanga is sold for £55m+£5m and Livramento and MGW have £80m price tags, Caicedo was a good deal in comparison.

Football is in one of its most dire eras for individual quality yet it's living in it's peak for transfer fees and wages.

David Silva and Aguero would have cost us £250m to get if they were the same age now as when we bought them.

Starting to look like a strong team now. So they should after all the money spent. If they can get Lavia fit and stay fit they will be a real force next season, although they do need a new keeper.

They have about 9 on the books how many do they need?

This the squad you can develop when you find cracks in the rules but they have already admitted that the previous owners cheated by bribing players to Join them hazard Wiliam to name two who had other teams wanted them! Those players then gave them a sporting advantage that got them winning titles trophies!

For that cheating they should be docked at least 20 points! Reduced premier squad!

What I’d like to see that happen and how Chelsea’s new owners halt it get it over turned because they’ll be a way in law to do that!
