Is Musk really taking it to the Don?

Dear Leader is (maybe already has?) tax credits for purchasing an electric vehicle (currently this stands at $7500.00).

And for sure, Musk is going to take it to the Don, in the short term (announcement of a new political party).

Long term - who knows how much stomach Musk has for a fight against Trump - lasting at least 2 years to affect the next US Congressional Election?

I'm sure that Musk **** is forming a party purely for the good of America. Nothing to do with power at all.

Awful, horrible set of cunts.

That’s been withdrawn the $7500.

Funnily enough watching a video last night rumours abound that Tesla are releasing 4 new models imminently with a new lower end Tesla 2 at $25k but because of the withdrawal it could rise to over $32k
Tesla are screwed 6-ways from Sunday.

The company is led by Musk - who is now, clearly, far right wing; how many far right-leaning people give a shit about climate change and would be motivated to purchase an electric vehicle? The dislike for Muck among potential purchasers of Tesla is massive - sales are plummeting.

Then, there's the Tesla technology for automated driving - which is shit. It's based on cameras only - and cameras can't see through fog, or very bright lights or other conditions - making the AI using this input prone to error.

Virtually every other electric vehicle with assisted/automated driving technology uses lidar (similar to radar but uses light waves instead of sound waves) coupled with cameras to provide much better input to the AI, resulting in far safer performance.

Then there's the Tesla Cybertruck; it's a Cyberfuck-up. Big time! Glued in panels that fall off. Windshield wiper motor failures. Fingerprints and smudges on the exterior of the car making it difficult to maintain a clean appearance. Which are all on top of the problems mentioned above.

Finally, Tesla's Robotaxi pilot rollout in Austin Texas was a huge failure - because their automatic driving hardware (no lidar) and software are not up to the task.

Not doubting it mate, but people are fical these days give it a year or so and they’ll move on if it suits them. I agree with the automated driving thing it’s a disaster waiting to happen I would t even use the Tesla me if I had it yiu can’t account for stupid idiots on the road, for me it only works if everyone had it, which maybe in 30 years we will a bit like I robot cars.

DoJ and DHS Gagged by judge.
Pam Bondi, Christy Gnome and their officials have been subjected to a gag order by the judge in the Abrego García case.
These officials have ceaselessly told lies about García who has been charged with trafficking offences having been brought back from El Salvador.
These officials have said, inter alia, that:
— García is a criminal. That is not true, he has never been convicted of any offence in the US.
— García is a member of a notorious gang. This is not true. Their evidence for this is tattoos which they say identify him as a gang member. The key tattoo is not present on his hands, it was photoshopped onto his image by the DoJ.
— García is a wife beater. This is not true as evidenced by his wife.
It is remarkable that the attorney general has been working hard to deny this man a fair trial by continually making false statements about him and the judge has said so.
Trump too has made such statements and the gullible have believed them to be true. Dax is convinced despite never setting eyes on any evidence.
Note: Bondi is an incompetent twat, a liar and a Trump sycophant who abandoned a state prosecution of Trump when he donated a large sum to her election campaign.

Cheers. Thanks for the clarification.
Ends on September 30, which is the end of Q3.

Expect to see EV price drops, albeit probably not $7,500 for Q4!!

If I was in the market for one, I think I’d take up a short term lease on one, get the $7,5000 discount from the dealer, and let the market shake out for a couple of years.

Trump and the MAGAts seem hell bent on harming EVs because they want to keep the price of oil reasonable now that the U.S. is the worlds largest energy producer AND they don’t want to have to pay for the national grid infrastructure upgrades which will run into the tens of not hundreds of billions.
