Sending any of our January incomings out on loan is a mistake for me, but just take Ries and Bah, both are miles ahead of the CB`s in the U21`s` the U21`s need to go on loan for game time, and City need the assurance that should Stones, Ake and Akanji get injured all season again, which is a guarantee, we have some cover.

only frees up two HG spaces though, not really that helpful to the squad shuffle we have. Only if we buy.

Pep obviously has a say and influence but as it was with Txiki it will be with Viana.

He’ll sign players and sell players. Pep deals with the squad afterwards.

A bit off topic, but a mate of mine from work knows his dad, apparently he's a top fella who bakes bread and sells it by the road side somewhere in Freetown.

My mate just got back to Australia from visiting family in Sierra Leone and he says his dad having a big house built for him in their suburb, and doesn't have to sell bread anymore.

Its awesome what football can do for some

Can't see either Stones or Ake leaving. With Grealish, McAtee, Walker & Phillips leaving all leaving we will already be one short of the required 8 home grown players. As it stands we have Bettinelli, Stones, Ake, Lewis, O'Reilly, Foden & Bobby. That's only 7.

We are not required to have 8 players.
I can't see us buying an English player unless possibly a RB.
Philipps and Walker are no loss to the squad as they weren't even with us at the end of last season.

We cant keep both, would be illogical. Ake probably stays as is left footed and can cover A few positions… Ake is also fit far more. Stones has been decent for us but time waits for no man unfortunately!!
