Looks like he is for sale then, at £80 million if we meet the price.Because he doesn't have to.
It's not his problem.

Sell one more Non-HG and get Vanderson.
VamelaViv Anderson?
Frimpong is poor defensively like TAA. Dumfries is 30 almost. Wouldn't say either are better options.Dumfries for starters although technically he is a wing back and age is against him as a new player coming from the Serie A to the Premier League. We missed a trick with Frimpong but Nunes has earned his chance to stake a claim.
Yeah think if we can get Grealish stones or Akanji Gundo McAteer sold and loan a couple maybe we will then make our move!Livrarmento has pace and can actually defend, that cover is needed with RAN bombing forward on the other side and who is a much more attacking minded full back. Balance is required here and this is it!
Dumfies is still the more experienced player and wouldn't cost us silly money. Frimpong is a HG player and isn't worse defensively either and hasn't cost Liverpool silly money. Despite Dumfiries age can still help us and it does gives us a little wriggle room in finding a suitable player.Frimpong is poor defensively like TAA. Dumfries is 30 almost. Dumfries is a short term plaster. Not a long term option. We did this with other players in the past. I'd rather we paid big money first time around so we didn't need to pay more money down the line for other players.Dumfies is still the more experienced player and wouldn't cost us silly money. Yes would be perfect deal for many reasons! Characters who don't want this lad are clueless. His pace is soooo badly needed for us at the back - it's unreal some say otherwise. Clearly haven't watched him closely and have basic understanding of what's required to be a successful again.Dangle Grealish to Newcastle and see if Tino can come to where winners live.
Yeah but the moment he turns 30 he will be shit. Did you forget that? It’s not like he can play at a top level until 33 or something. Once you hit 30 it’s over in football. Probably will have to overpay but we should be confident the club can recoup the fee with player sales. Hugo ain’t fucking about. If we need to get our pants pulled down by £10-15m in the short term but get 10 years out of him at a top level then so be it imo.

Grealish
Mcatee
Stone or Ake or akanji
Gundo no fee but wages
if we can get £70/80 mil for those players combined, slap it down for Tino. Wages saved alone will be worth it. That £100m plus chat is nonsense and won’t happen.
I have changed my mind and think this gets done. City do need to free up squad spaces, raise fees and save wage. Most likely a late window buy with MGW.Agreed and we have already shed £400,000 a week for KDB and £250,000 a week with Walker? The new signings will not be on huge wages imo so there is wiggle rooma nd we still have the likes of Doyle, Phillips, Wilson Esbrand, and possibly Kovacic who will leave? Test Newcastle with £70m plus £10m easy add ons on success and it will make them think
Kinda where I am too. I think he’s already a good player and at 22, pep can make him a great one..If we need to get our pants pulled down by £10-15m in the short term but get 10 years out of him at a top level then so be it imo.

He is HG and a naturally good defender as any proper young full back should be with loads of space to improve with better players. Key signing will unlock some other teammates performances too . . .
Gundog, Jack, McAtee and Stonesy straight swap. Job done:)Probably will have to overpay but we should be confident the club can recoup the fee with player sales. Hugo ain’t fucking about.
