It has been for some time - better off on Bluesky ...BUT ..... worth keeping the Twitter account to watch the madness it descends into.
 
Looks like all Grok guardrails were removed. Possibly by accident, possibly intentionally.

Yesterday was carnage on twitter. some of it was bad, some was hilarious.

it certainly did go full on antisemitic. even ended up calling its self "the mechafuhrer"

Watching it have arguments with Russians about the invasion and basically telling them they were full of shit and had fallen for Russian propaganda was funny, even calling out Musk for being one of the biggest spreaders of Russian propanganda out there. and telling one Russian about "turning russian invaders into meat cubes and furtilise the ukrainian soil with there corpses"

there was also full on porn posts from it.

for how bad it is, there still are some uses if you dont venture out of the "following" section so you only see people you follow. its still handy for some dev work i do.

as soon as you go to the "For you tab" its a sea of shit.

I would lean towards a decidedly not-sober Musk demanding they make the changes as a joke. There's no other way to explain the "MechaHitler" thing. Someone had to consciously make it refer to itself as that.

The silence from Musk in the last 24 hours means he's probably sleeping off his latest bender.

In the last month or so its certainly started to use more human mannerisms in its language style. This will be a very conscious design choice by its developers. they have chosen a "Bro" personality for it. You can get chat bots out there will all sorts of persona's and vocabularies.

Lots of models are designed to be just factual and clinical in the responses.

I seriously only used twitter for @tolmie's hairdoo posts.. but I can do without them.

Would be nice though if someone setup a mirror on bsky for his account if he continues to post there..

I won't blame Tolmie but I can't give my time and effort to reading/ posting/ engaging on a clearly pro nazi platform.. it insults me and my ancestors and that's a line way too far for me!
