UEFA Women's Euros | England win final on penalties!

Chalk and cheese performance compared to the match against France. Very good first half from England. Two lovely goals and they have been competitive all over the pitch.
 
Much better from England that. Toone providing a bit a more industry to the midfield, LJ terrorising them on the right and Hemp getting a lot of joy on the left.

Bronze has played some brilliant crossfield passes over to Hemp although I do worry a little about her being caught out of position. She's carrying the ball really high up the pitch and often losing it.
 
Two quality strikes ..... Half Time 2-0, and England totally on top ...... looks like the Dutch striker who plays for City women, Miedema, has been rubbing her hamstring.
 
Great half from England. Really disappointing to see no men involved in the BBC coverage. Blatant sexism and the national broadcaster must do better

Always pleased to see players once of our parish do well, so long as they're not playing directly against City. And there are not a few former and current City players out there today…

By the way, not able to watch this, but just seen the clip of that James goal. That is some goal — never mind men or women, in anyone's game that would be a superb goal.
