UEFA Women's Euros | England win final on penalties!

The honeymoon period will hopefully boost the WSL interest if Sky market it well.

Family friendly kick offs is the key.

Would the FA/UEFA be supportive of Evening midweek fixtures be it league or cup kicking off 17:00/18:00/19:00?

I'm sure that would help.
God no. The evening fixtures are a pain in the ass and usually it’s a severely reduced crowd because of school nights. The 2pm Sunday kick offs are best but seems like Sky are trialling 12pm kicks offs this year

Completely agree. I'd be embarrassed if my kid did that, but we are talking about a kid that's most likely been taught they can get away with anything because of who their parents are.

Re: the shirt - my daughter's had hers a few weeks and it is really nice. I've ordered one for my wife as well, should hopefully come this next week
I was the exact same. Hated the home shirt then saw them wearing it at a game and ordered myself the player version. Think the blue and red pops a bit more on the player kit rather than the fan version. Looks really smart

14:00 Sunday would be perfect kick off times. Sky would rather shift the games around to accommodate their PL coverage.

Yep. That’s their reasoning behind the 12pm kick off trial unfortunately. I think it will affect the amount of away fans that can get to games. Especially with travelling down to London games or vice versa

Speaking of which, the Joie can be terribly quiet at times and so we sometimes need a decent away crowd to encourage a bit of noise.

The Hammarby fans last season in the champions league were the best away fans I’ve seen at the Joie by a county mile

I purchased the player version as well too. It was, in my opinion, worth spending the extra money for it.

Yeah it just looks a lot more premium imo.

Stopped getting mens players on the back many years ago but I’ll get City women players on the back. Went with Hemp on the England shirt with all the patches

Biggest TV audience of the year so far for the final - meanwhile Chelsea fan speaks for us all ........... not

Just been reading that Hannah Hampton chucked the Spanish keeper's water bottle, with all the penalty notes on it, into the England fans at the start of the shoot out. I'm not sure whether i'm impressed or appalled.
Sounds like top shithousing to me.

If anyone is interested, Esme does a fundraiser every year for the children's hospital in Sheffield. This year, the prize is signed Lionesses shirts worn during the match against Sweden.

As someone who has been to a children's hospital for a family member (not this one), it's a great cause and a fantastic prize (in my opinion. ) And fwiw, I love Esme. She seems a really wonderful young woman.
