I'd like MGW at City assuming we are shipping out Gundo and Kova whose best days are behind them. With Grealish & McAtee also goners that'd be 4 midfielders out and 3 in with Reijnders, MGW & Cherki.

However the "source" of this info isn't exactly A1 - if David Ornstein or Jack Gaughan back it up then I'd take more notice.

If so, it’s a daft way of going about it. The only way this transfer is happening is if we have players leaving and when his contract is up/or we put in a bid £100m+. All of seems highly unlikely.

Think he starts ahead of O’Reilly and Bobb, not sure that’s a good thing though, you could throw Bernardo in your list too. Agree we don’t need him, and I think he’s a very good player, but thought Reijnders made this a no goer.

Yep. We laugh at anything Football Insider say in relation to the 115 case, and rightly so. We shouldn't decide they are a decent source now just because we're desperate for some transfer activity and they've reported something that some on here consider good news.

At this stage, it seems like Pep is more likely to start you than Nico.

Wayne who runs FI has some good sources so he'd absolutely report something if he's been told if he believes it in good faith. He was the first to report Potter to West Ham before anyone else.

But they do have a track record of getting things wrong/things not coming to fruition.

But they do have a track record of getting things wrong/things not coming to fruition.

They’ll always have a bad hit rate regardless of any inside info they may have. They need traffic to generate profit, and they won’t get enough traffic if they only post things they are sure are true

He should be. Even though he played very well in some of the CWC games and at the end of the season... he is still one of the slowest players in the league.

I'm still holding out hope that Gundogan and Bernardo and Kovacic (once fit) and Akanji all leave before tge window shuts.

New captain should be Cherki imo. One of only a very few in the whole squad who seems to believe in himself and has a never say die attitude.

I know he's young, new and not a starter but imo there's a fire in this lads belly that I don't see elsewhere in the squad.

You see it as soon as he is on the pitch. That should be our standard. Fire. Not old heads keeping things steady.
