Never thought i would see the day that they are no longer on our footballing radar. The lack of posts here (including last years thread) these days says it all. They are not a threat and haven't been for a very long time.

The much mentioned come back has never happened. They just turn corner after corner. Rebuild after rebuild.
The press have done their level best to try and keep them relevant. Every year they are rebuilding and signing every world class player, who happened to be a childhood fan.
Now they are skint. The credit facility has run out and the banks want their money back. Other clubs will also be queing up to get their money as well.

Who actually believed they could build a £2b stadium? What was that all about?
Probably to test the waters for a possible sale to an oil rich nation? Oh the irony!

We will know when they finally hit rock bottom when scrooge Mcjim sets up a "GO FUND ME" page.
(please if there is a god let this happen!)

I see the raggies are after government/lottery money.

They might get £300 million to move the freight depot in Trafford park, however where are they going to find the actual £2-3 billion to actually build the stadium from when their debts need refinancing soon, their cash in the bank has been as low as it’s ever been and they are constantly burning through operating cash?

The desperate fan fair by their PR machine telling their lemming supporters that this is going to happen is hilarious. Compare and contrast to City where projects such as the North Stand Extension and the Co Op Live just get done with minimal fuss.

The more hilarious thing is they think they can get it done for 2-3 billion, they are living in lala land if they think they can get it done for anything close to that.

Remember back in the day ‘were Man United we do what we want’. When Ferguson broke the British transfer record time and again? Seems if they can’t persuade Mbeumo for £65m(!) the choices are Callum Wilson, Dominic Permanently-Knackered, or Jamie Vardy.

Said it before, and will keep saying it – that stadium does not get built... not as the renders show anyway.
All that glass, it's not a great idea in Manchester and will snowball in price due to it's intricacy. It's just not a feasible design.
