He is on 198K a week, thats too much & Madrid have to lower their price very much in order to move him.


I think we should only offer a loan deal where Madrid will pay 50% of his wages, that will save them around 6m a year.


On a series note : Not sure about this, if we need another winger I would prefer Kenan Yildiz or Kudus

I would rather City benefit Juventus or West ham instead of Madrid.

Doku outperformed him in combined goals & assists per 90 and Savinho did in expected goals & assists - where he actually outperformed his Girona season (during which he got more goals & assists than Rodrygo).

Rodrygo is a good player but he's not a gamebreaker and I definitely wouldn't be on board with binning off 3, younger, talented players for him.

Personally I don't think Savinho will cut it with us, I'd be more optimistic about Doku given the end of the season he had with us, He came up with big moments for us although the jury is out on both players.

I'd love to see Oscar Bobb getting more game time I think he has all the tools to get himself a regular starting position.

I'm with you on Rodrygo, I genuinely don't think he would strengthen us that much, He's another headless chicken.

Talking about wingers, I was scrolling through YouTube yesterday and came across Mahrez best bits at City and ended up watching that, What a player he was for us! The trouble now for alot of our wingers is they are being compared to the likes of Mahrez and not coming close as he was such a huge talent.

To be fair what was Mahrez, 28 ish when he came to us. Doku and Savinho what 22?
Not really comparing like for like. Hopefully we see progress, Mahrez a bit hot and cold first season too.
 
I reckon we are waiting on the details before potentially getting involved. The fee to us would be way higher than others, so just play the waiting game
I just don’t see us letting Arsenal, Liverpool or Chelsea get him without a fight
We clearly rate him and have tried for him previously
Even if we take a loan with obligation to buy next year like everyone else seems to do

with how things are escalating i think we would even get a decent deal tbh, RM looks dead set on shipping him off

Seeing that Rodrygo wants to win thing and play a lot of minutes, then it is most likely between us and Liverpool

Chelsea are overstacked rn
Arsenal are in for Eze and Madueke
Liverpool would be interested if they sell Diaz, if they get Rodrygo, then it is a 10/10 transfer window for them and it would be very hard to compete with them

City has similar-ish issue with wingers, it would most likely be the end of Savinho, and to be fair i would be all in for him to be loaned to Girona

how that looks as XI it would be something like that

Yeah Mahrez was 27/28 when he joined us, So he was roughly 23/24 when he joined Leicester City, Incredible footballer with Leicester too, He won Premier League Player of the year aged 25.

Doku and Savinho are both young and have alot to learn and improve on, Personally I'd be more optimistic about Oscar Bobb getting near those levels than Doku and Savinho.

I hope I'm wrong about Savinho and Doku but I just can't see it, As I said I think Doku has had a wonderful end to the Premier League campaign for us so hopefully that continues.

198k a week is not too much. It's about right.

You don't get a quality CL level forward for less than £200k a week.
