I'm happy for her. She was one of my favourite players but injuries and lack of self belief hindered her. I hope she's had the relevant treatment and takes Hampton's place in the England squad.

Felt like a questionable career move but maybe she just saw it as a good life opportunity. A year in Barcelona, playing alongside the best in the world and around a team winning trophies. After the horrendous health problems she'd had and a difficult time under Taylor, maybe it felt like a nice reset and place to rebuild her fitness.

The time is right now for her to start prioritising getting minutes though and Villa is probs the best place for her to do it. They need a keeper, it's not too far from home, play all their games at Villa Park and (despite a v poor season) their ownership does seem to be vaguely trying to do something with their women's team. I hope she does brilliantly there. She's still only 25 and I think the England shirt is still up for grabs if someone really steps up.

You know what, I can see the attraction to a club in the "other 8". He's the got the highest win %age of anybody with 2 or more seasons in the league.

Not sure he's an upgrade on Matt Beard though.

The thing that was never addressed* or perhaps glossed over, was why all the coaches underneath him (the Goat et al) left last summer, which left us with a seemingly poorer coaching group.

(*Or if it has been explained, it passed me by at least.)

Works fine for me mate. You can also log into your ticketing account and renew from there if you can’t do it via the email.

If you pay by Direct Debit it will auto renew without you needing to do anything

Was chatting with someone who has decent contacts at the Joie stadium and they reckon that Roebuck’s dad hates City due to how they treated Roebuck in her recovery. Sounded a bit Paul Lake esque.

I asked if they thought it was a club or Taylor problem and they said both.

They also said that the women can only use the gym at the CFA between 7 and 9.

Hopefully a change of manager and the new women’s building will change ethos and morale.
