If she properly settles in Manchester, I think she's going to cook next season. Can't wait.

Off the field she seems to the the face of the Brasil women's team. She's on loads of promo stuff with Vino Jr and the real Ronaldo. Id imagine it will improve our reach in South America as well

Chelsea A first up - a bit of a free hit.
We play Chelsea/Arsenal in early Feb - so hopefully that will before Yui and her mates fly off to Oz.
They may be back for Ragettes away at end of March.
Leicester H Villa A and Spurs H are the 3 matches where they will most likely be missing, which could be a lot worse in fairness.

The Wales left wing-back Lily Woodham is available on a free, as her contract with Seattle Reign is up very shortly (although she was on loan at Palace). She'll be talking to other clubs when she's back from the Euros. We should be looking at her.

She's 24 with loads of potential. I've watched her a few times and she's definitely WSL standard. I know that Leah Williamson is a big fan of hers.
Too late. She's just signed for Liverpool this morning.

Some people are getting a bit carried away......

No disrespect intended to the ladies (the Lionesses did brilliantly), but there's no way either of them would get anywhere near a PL men's side. They just haven't got the physical strength required to compete against men. There's one post on there saying that Bonmati is a greater talent than Jude Bellingham. Now, we all know that Bellingham won't win any popularity contests on here, and he comes across as an arrogant tw@. But seriously?

I'd say you can say Bonmatti is better than Bellingham comparatively. There should be an assumption that it doesn't mean you'd pick a woman to play in a men's team though.

It's like saying Serena Williams is better than Tim Henman. Most would agree with it based on what each had won, but still understand that Henman would win any match between them.

That's a predominantly men's football feed trying to generate clicks fron apoplectic men.

I dont know anyone who follows women's football who talks like this.

In fact someone who actually follows women's football might well point out that Chloe Kelly doesn't even make the starting 11 for some WSL teams.

Fair point. I wouldn't pretend to be an avid follower of the women's game, to be honest. But I had heard Bonmati referred to in glowing terms during the Euros. Checked her Wikipedia page; she's got a heap of medals, including the last two Ballon D'Or feminin awards. She seems to be the standout player in the women's game right now.

Chloe Kelly can't even make the starting 11 of the women's team

As a side, I genuinely think that Casparij would be no worse than Nunes at RB for City

Everton have sold their women's team to the parent company which owns the club - a move that will improve their compliance with the Premier League's profitability and sustainability rules (PSR).

They wouldn’t get in any of the non league sides I played for.

I’m no Joey Barton but I watched a bit of the euros and I did really want to like it as my youngest daughter has started to play and take an interest but and this is just my opinion and I’m sure I’ll be getting pelters but I found it boring. The speed was slow and the technique not great.

I understand the hysteria surrounding the win but for me it’s just something I don’t find enjoyable. Maybe aswell I feel that it’s rammed down my throat that I should like the game and that if I don’t or critique it at all then I’m a sexist, which I’m most definitely not.

I would go as far as to say that any Sunday league team that I played for would beat the englands woman team quite comfortably.

3-3 at full-time. Into extra-time now. Kerolin still on the pitch but hasn't scored in this game (yet!).
No goal for Kerolin as she got subbed off just into the 2nd period of extra-time. Brazil were leading 4-3 but Colombia have just equalised with a pretty decent free-kick. Going to penalties this by the looks of it.
