I was under the impression that they HAD reached a decision. The hold up is in the presentation of their findings which - in view of the huge implications - has to be extremely thorough to ensure no loopholes for anyone to jump on.
Who knows?

Agree mate, but neither is the two respected accountant and lawyer going after each other. I wish they would pack it in. I believe both are posting their info in good faith and should just leave it at that. This situation is depressing enough without blue on blue. I bet the assorted Rags/media that pollute this thread sometimes are having super fun.

This has nothing to do with whether we are ultimately cleared or not. Most of me expects us to be cleared as much as the next blue.
 
Can't we get back to corned beef hash and venues old bands have played at? It's somewhat less dull than a dick-waving competition to see who understands more about the situation.

And maybe City are vetting the appointment of the new Chief Executive? After all, other clubs managed to be part of the interview process for Masters...

Agreed excepting that I'm not picking either side, I'm quite happy to wait for the decision to be published. Whether I'm happy after the fact remains to be seen ;)

Why wouldn't they? We'll be in the PL for the foreseeable and hopefully in a better relationship as a result of the case.

I think that both are posting in good faith with what they have been told. One may have information that has come to light at a later date. I am happy with that.

Mate, it took 11 months for the planning application for the north stand to get processed. This, after the club knew fine well it was all in order, after a period of 6 months of fortnightly meetings with the planners and the scheme effectively all agreed with them. It still them took 11 whole month, for the reports to get written, panel to convene, spend 10 minutes debating it, and then the approval to get published.

Legislative shit takes time. The bigger the significance or scale, the more time. Not sure why people are so surprised.

What was it, 14-15 months since the charges to get to the actual hearing?

Let me tell you with absolute clarity here, because this is something I know a thing or two about, within an hour of the commencement of a headhunting exercise for a job like this, the cat would be fully out of the bag and the world's media woul dbe running it.

Definitely trust me on this particular fact.

Stefan said it was a muffin and that he likes corned beef and Branston on them. I said the only answer was a turkey, cranberry and stuffing barm.
