PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

If City had have been found guilty the cabal and co would be shouting it from the rooftops by now.
Exactly it’s gone very quiet In the media the only ones keeping it going are the weirdo like Magic hat and goldbridge who just mention it for clicks.

In my uneducated opinion there’s only two scenarios at the moment 1.there really is no news or 2. City are innocent

Fuckers would be printing leaflets and priming the bejesus out of their media friends and we all know how hard it is for that gaggle of goons to keep quiet.

I'm not sure this idea that the PL leaks like a sieve holds much water any more. At least not since the existence of the APT case was leaked (by Arsenal we all suppose) in June last year was it? I always thought the PL had been through the wringer for that with the arbitration panel. I wouldn't he surprised if they are now water-tight.

Can anyone suggest any leaking by the PL or its member clubs since then?, Other than by City, strangely enough.

There was that Muhammed business a couple of months ago, but that was just stirring by the usual press suspects and was nothing new. I can't think of anything else.

Not saying there is anything conclusive in @Prestwich_Blue 's post but the lack of leaks can't be used to discredit it, imho, and the difficulty in keeping a recruitment confidential can't either because that was his personal conjecture, not what he had heard from his source.

I’m assuming top top top top people learn before their barristers…. Diplomat speaks to panel & it’s fed back. They smile confidently & wish the barrister good luck & tell them they have their full confidence.

I would imagine the panel members are all Lords or Knights and all lunch and dine at the same clubs and the palaces of the mighty amongst all the other Lords and Knights. It's a different environment to us plebs and they are also, I expect, used to keeping secrets but I wouldn't be surprised if snippets are shared around the "club" from their soft leather comfy chairs during after-dinner cigars in the knowledge that they are "safe".

What we need is someone who has access to someone, directly or indirectly, from the same club. Any volunteers?

I know a couple who move in those elevated circles and they both think we're dead meat. What do they know anyway?

I've no desire to keep this going round in circles but my point about the PL looking for a Masters replacement was purely speculative.

I'm even prepared to accept Stefan's point that the formal outcome isn't yet known although I've never claimed that a document consisting of hundreds of pages is sitting in a locked drawer at the Etihad somewhere. But I'll accept I could be wrong on that and it could be no more than they're pretty certain of the outcome, rather than they know it for sure.

But I'm 100% sticking with the claim that the PL will come out of this very badly indeed when the outcome is known, and whatever they're trying to do to manage that is the reason for the delay.
There. That wasn't so fucking hard was it!

So all shite, apart from the bravado. Which we all welcome.

Let's bloody move on.

If only I hadn’t let all my memberships lapse at the private members clubs in Mayfair….

All that was obvious from your original post, matey. I don't know why it's so hard these days for people to understand a messaging without turning it into some binary, with or against, choice. It's always happened in off-topic, of course, but it's happening more and more in the rest of the forum. You can clearly see the posters on here who engage in it. And it's a shame. Society, eh?
