Take it you got found guilty then ?Because, take it from me, the CPS who decide who gets charged and with what, are absolute cunts

Another example-I was always arresting the same youths for the usual theft from vehicles etc-they'd always scrap when you tried to arrest them-one day I went with a female officer (wpc went out with juliet bravo..) and not one of the 7 kicked off..
You'd like to think their ridiculous not-guilty plea will see the judge treat them as harshly as the guidelines allow. Maximum sentences for each charge to be served consecutively would be my hope, although seems unlikely.Five year maximum, but the second assault was on emergency workers so will be taken into account
It may be a couple of years for the original headbutt and punches, five for the WPC's broken nose and two further years as it was emergency workers
Assault

Lots of big fuckers first to leg it back in the day.........plenty of 5ft 8 lads stood their ground not giving a fuck.Do you think a 6ft bloke wouldnt have got chinned? The same offender punched the officer (who later stamped on his head) around a dozen times-you think he's since just brushed it off?
There were plenty of big blokes who I'd never want near me during a disturbance-because the quality of the officer-their intelligence/experience/ability to function under stress/ability to communicate was far more important than their size.
Also, most people have never been thumped that hard in the face-its not like the telly-it fucking hurts and its fucking scary.
I chased after someone once who I knew was v violent and when I caught up with him he headbutted me so hard I thought my head was going to explode.
This incident and the sword murder in Hainult demonstrate what our police face on a daily basis on the frontline-many of them v young people who run towards danger and put themselves in harms way only to be judged by all and sundry after the event.

No mateTake it you got found guilty then ?
Which goes to show he is fully aware of what he is doing and when it comes to charging should counteract all the excuses many spew out….mental health adhd vulnerable drugs etc etcI saw a similar thing recently. Some idiot went mental in our street and was trying to kick someones door in. The Police had to restrain him and put him in a van. There were some seriously big officers who put him in the van, he then started going mental, shouting and booting the inside. A smallish female officer just opened the door and said "if you don't pack that in, you & I are going to fall out" and he just stopped straight away.

So because she is 5 - 2 she should carry a firearm ?Officer! 5ft 2 and 8 stone. And not carrying a firearm so not even got that advantage
Both, the incident escalated but her height has sod all to with it .Does he not mean stature of officer rather than stature of incident?
Yes, I've just seen the young female PC with her nose all bust up and bleeding. The footage is pretty shocking, hope the twats get the maximum punishment possible.
Need to be found guilty yet.The footage is pretty shocking, hope the twats get the maximum punishment possible.
I was one of those who was critical of the police officer on here when the initial footage emerged. The new video certainly makes it more understandable why he reacted that way, but still don’t think you can ever really justify stamping on someone’s head, even a twat like that. Anyway, hope justice is served.I’m glad he got booted in the head. Serves the fucker right.
Not sure they’re getting away with it after the jury see that footage.Need to be found guilty yet.
He reacted in that situation as I think I would have done.I was one of those who was critical of the police officer on here when the initial footage emerged. They were all trained police officers. They tried to calm it and deal with them and arrest them. If someone doesnt want to be arrested and displays that amount of violence to them, where does it stop and how and what else do they do? Shoot him? No. Hes unarmed. Taser? Tried it. Back up? Hes headbutted one of them and shes fucked and not an option. Got to keep an airport full of people safe from them dicks and arrest them come what may, its their job they have to do it. No options left. Do whats needed. Very easy to critise if not in that position and moment. Not a fair view that, respectfully of courseHe reacted in that situation as I think I would have done.
And as a trained police officer I don't think that's right.

Hadn’t he been tasered by that point, so you could argue that the threat had largely been neutralised? Not a hill I’m going to die on anyway!Disagree. Defendant displayed an extreme aggression and level of violence towards armed police officers in an airport. In that situation I would say pretty much any action is justified to neutralise the threat.
If anything the defendant got off lightly and the officer would have been justified using even more force if he felt the threat hadn’t been fully dealt with.
