But multiple people on this thread have made the argument that it is right that they have been arrested purely on the grounds that they've broken the law, with no consideration for whether that law is just. So in that sense, the equivalence is completely apt. "Break the law, suffer the consequences" applies equally regardless of the morality of the law or the legitimacy of the regime putting it in place.
